I suggest rather than responding and feeding the troll everybody goes onto the user’s profile and presses ‘report’ (on the profile rather than on individual posts)- I’m not sure if it still works like this but it certainly used to be that if somebody got enough negative reports their account would be temporarily suspended until a staff member could come and ban.

I've tired to sleep with a plushie (Pikachu) many times, but I always end up putting down when I struggle and grabbing my spare pillow and using that as it's what I'm used to I guess (been sleeping that way, hugging a pillow, for years).
