Post 'em here!
I won't use the quotes I already use in my profile or in my signature so it comes down to fresh material. Lemme kick it off...
"The only time a woman succeeds at changing a man is when he is a baby." --Natalie Wood. Guess that's why Robert Wagner bumped her off the boat? (j/k) Anyhoo, it's a perfect quote for our genre-ation.
An extremely favorite character of mine is from the Jurassic Park empire: Dr. Ian Malcolm...what an amazingly-profound guy! As a chaos-theory specialist, he wasn't religious but he did touch upon theology & morality a time or two as expression in a few of his quotes:
Finally...Anissa Jones, the girl who played "Buffy" (no, not the 'vampire-slayer') in Family Affair (1966-1971). I was 27 months old when I first saw her on TV...and fell in instant love with her. I wanted a snuggle or a hug from her so badly! She made curly pigtails my all-time fav girls' hairstyle! So adorable...anyway, when on a TV talk show, while still little, she was being interviewed and came up with this utterly-golden gem:

- "Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."
- "Don't you see the danger, John, inherent in what you're doing here? Genetic power is the most awesome force the planet's ever seen, but you wield it like a kid that's found his dad's gun."
- "God creates dinosaurs, God destroys dinosaurs. God creates man, man destroys God. Man creates dinosaurs..."
- ...and the most-profound 4-word quote I've yet seen: "Life finds a way".

- "I can read...except for a very big word we sometimes have. Like the word 'philosopher'. Do you know what a philosopher is? Well...it's a man that thinks a lot, but doesn't do anything much about it."
