I just saw Josh Groban live last night and hands down has to be my new favorite. The band that held top spot before was "Yellowcard". I saw that at my local college in a venue that only held 1000 people so it was so cool to see the electric violin up close. Josh Groban was performing at the casino I work in and he has a great voice and he was just silly on stage not what I thought he was but so worth the 80 bucks for the ticket.

The best concerts, that I saw when I was younger and going to concerts, were the ones that were so good I couldn’t remember much of what happened at them. This was in the ’70s and drugs were standard fare at the rock concerts I attended so concert amnesia is to be expected. Damn, that was nearly a half century ago, no wonder I can’t remember them!

I think concerts are a night of sensory overload anyway even without the illicit substances. I don’t remember a lot of details from the many I’ve been to but I know I loved them. Favourite was probably one of the many Rush shows I’ve been to. They weren’t about the flash but three hours of tremendous musicianship.

I've only been to one. It was a tribute band of pink Floyd, they were really good😁

WOW!!! that is tough... I'd have to say, even though I love RUSH, the best I ever been to is STYX 1982 Mr. Roboto Tour. (showing my age I know)

My absolute favorite concert was The rolling stones! My biggest regret was never seeing the prog rock band Yes, there my favorite band. Might say I was born in the wrong generation 😂

I've been to a handful of concerts but I guess Shinedown would be my favorite. I have seen them twice. Had a lot of fun at a Pearl Jam concert once. I wish Eddie Vedder could get the political crap off stage but he did put on a good show. Saw Nickelback once and a band called Chevelle opened up for them. And that band rocked. Definitely the highlight of that show.

Queensryche, Promised Land tour.

I saw Iron Maiden a few years ago and they where fantastic.

I also had tickets for Rammstein but the date kept getting postponed so I haven’t seen then yet, hopefully i will get to see them this summer if it doesn’t get postponed again.

Been to quite a few as well as seeing bands at festivals it I’d have to say my favorite would be my first concert, whilst enjoying most I’ve been to I don’t think I ever got the same buzz again.

My first concert was in London in 1981 (yes I’m THAT old) and it was Depeche Mode who were supported by Blancmange

Joint concert Billy Idol & Bon Jovi 1993

My first concert was Y&T opening for the Tubes somewhere around 1979. Have been to a lot of great concerts over the years. Journey (original line-up) back in the late 80's was great, I saw Depeche Mode, INXS, Thompson Twins, Thomas Dolby, and Oingo Boingo throughout the late 80's. Late 90's saw WASP, Scorpions, Dokken, Alice Cooper and others. Since then, there has been Halestorm, Stone Sour, Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, Skillet, Pop Evil, Godsmack, Shinedown, Volbeat, Trivium, Slipknot, Gojira, Adelita's Way, In This Moment, Starset, Megadeth, Black Stone Cherry and far too many more to list at festivals. Company I worked for had parties where we had Chris Isaak, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Chicago, Foreigner, and Billy Idol play private concerts for us.

Gotten to meet Oingo Boingo, Halestorm, Godmsack, Volbeat, and Skillet over the years. Best shows I remember being at so far have been Oingo Boingo, Godsmack, Halestorm, Shinedown, and Volbeat.

Judas Priest , rob halford is one of the most greatest singers in our time his range, power and technique are amazing, though at 70yrs old his voice is in decline but for a 70 year old to still be singing that style in the genre he is in is very impressive.

Came across Alice Cooper at Bonnaroo one year. The whole band and performance was amazing. My best concert personally was a Phil Lesh and Friends show in 2013. Just one of them magical nights.

When I was in college, my SO and I were given tickets for Simon and Garfunkel. This was in Princeton and Dylan Gymnasium was sold out so they set up some folding chairs right in front of the stage. My friend and I were about 8 feet from the two and it was amazing. Paul Simon played his guitar and Art played his tambourine. Paul was amazing on the guitar and that was all that was needed plus their amazing voices.

Later when I was married, my wife and I would save up some money so we could hear Judy Collins at a big outdoor pavilion where Cleveland Orchestra played in the summer.

We'd eat a picnic dinner out on the lawn, but we bought pavilion tickets so we could be up close. Judy Collins was always fantastic as was the band that accompanied her.
