That's more of a myth than anything. 1 out of 1000 "might" do that, but our media likes to sensationalize that 1, not the boring 999 others who don't.
Plus, the adult diapers that major stores and pharmacies sell are all useless crap- made for an aging population that only experiences minor leaking. While you will easily find a lot of adult diapers out there, they are no good full full wettings- and hence why nobody uses them at the slot machines for emptying a full bladder just so they can keep gambling.
