That would be nice, but I doubt it. I’m lucky though because she lets me wear diapers.

I have a few pacifiers, but I normally just use my thumb so...when I need to refer to pacifiers, I just call them pacifiers.

In Australia we call them 'Dummies' although the word pacifier is coming into more usage.
It was my wife who (some time after she talked me into wearing nappies full time) got me to try sleeping with a dummy to cut down on snoring.
Best sleep ever for both of us !!
Now I hardly ever sleep without one.

I only have fem pacifiers: Gertrude, Edna, and Agnes.

No, not really. I just call them pacifiers or pacis. Although if I had one with a goose or a duck on it, I might name that one Gertrude.

I never had a pacifier as a kid. My mom mostly referred to them as binkies.

The pacifier you see in my photo is called my Oinker, and is reminiscent of the original Oinker when I was two. It’s the only one that has a name, though.

If pacifier ever displaces dummy in Australia, I'm going to...er, spit the dummy.

I call my pacifier "binky"...I bet the corporation which trademarked the Binky pacifier is frustrated that their product tanked but that the name caught on. All that money...curse you, Nuk and Mam! 🤬🫢🤭

I have lots of Nuk 6 and MegaMam pacifiers (40!)...all my binkies. But I prefer the MegaMams...so light, airy, no moving parts. So simple, so comfy. Very rarely, I call my pacifier a "bop"...a name my oldest (and autistic) granddaughter came up with for hers, which stuck for the other 3 grandkids. 🤭

Binky on this end. I'm just praying the binky fairy doesn't show up to take them away.

I call mine "plugs". It's actually based on something a friend used to say about "plugging the hole" when their baby lost its binky.
