Born in April of 1972.

I grew up with cloth terries and Gerbers until my 4s when I switched to disposables (an assortment of fanfold and hourglass styles). As there weren't Peaudouce Junior youth-sized diapers in the mid-1980s I directly made the switch to Slipad adult briefs before purchasing my first bag of Attends in 1987.
Would be in heaven if pampers made adult version

Early or mid-to-late 80s?

1985 was the last year for the fanfold style.

Pampers went hourglass in 1986 though there was a very short period during which both styles co-existed as P&G wanted to wring up existing left-overs from their warehouses before definitely retiring the old machinery from active service.
Can vaguely remember hour glass

I was born in ‘85, so most babies my age wore disposables. But my mother was also a bit ahead of the curve on environmental issues too, so I remember being put into terry nappies too.

And whatever type of nappy I had on it was always with plastic pants.

Love plastic pants over a disposable! Gives me a feeling of being a heavy wetter for constantly being at mommy’s breasts, and her diapering me accordingly.49A48248-646C-4970-B0D5-530568DD02DD.jpegAC151DAB-3A12-4E87-99D5-A0B9B8DA4E18.jpegAED11CF5-84CD-4565-8255-CCC892B9A3CC.jpeg

I was born July 1956 so it was cloth diapers and plastic pants, same for my siblings. I don't remember seeing disposable diapers until my generation started having children and even then some still used cloth diapers.

For me it was plastic pants (Mölny) and pads (Vleswindeln). It was just at the time when Pampers came to Europe. But I never got them.

I really like Fabimonti from Germany. Bought the panda ones a few years ago some of best ever bought. It cost 50 pounds for ten , high postage

Born late ‘68, so cloth and plastic pants for me day to day. My parents bought disposables (white Pampers) when traveling. I don’t remember being in diapers, but do remember my brother born in early ‘73 wearing the same. Some of my earliest memories are taking and wearing some of his diapers…cloth ones while at home, but the best was getting my hands in a Pampers when on vacation.

Fairly straightforward question, was it Disposable or pinup diapers for you as a kid?

As I was born in 1999, it was Disposables all the way for me!

Specifically a mix of plastic backed and the modern fabricky sort, but since my parents are... well, cheapskates, I got mainly plastic-backed in the early 2000s
Always been disposables for me. Pull Ups, diapers and plastic pants. Never worn cloth, although I have tried wearing cloth backed disposable diapers, but i don't really like them. I found that cloth backed diapers feel clammy, and aren't very good for odour control, they also seep through the back if you are sitting for long periods of time. I prefer plastic backed disposable diapers all day long. (y) :giggle:
