I really enjoy hot pot! I have had it a few different styles and it has a deep flavor. My favorite is sukiyaki from Japan. I had it when I was in Kyoto and it was well worth the time and money. I learned how to make it here and have it once or twice a winter.

My family loves it … very fun experience and delicious. Hot pot also goes by the name for shabu-shabu ( Japanese version but we can’t tell the difference). Related is Korean BBQ… alll three you cook yourself and make for a fun night. Sometimes we find places that have the BBQ on the outside of the hotpot and you get the best of both worlds
