I like to consider ways of making Littles feel secure and loved in a day-to-day environment. I am no expert, it is just something I feel is important to ponder about. Of course novelty is important, like a new colorful safe bunny plush or something furry and cuddly that is a new surprise. But I believe in my heart that regularity and sameness of routine is so very important. Mornings can follow the same pattern, changings occur at regular times, sleepy naps come just when the Little can expect them to. I just think that to adhere to a regular daily fixed schedule contributes to feelings of love and security. It also makes my caregiver's responsibilities clear and focused! (Just a few thoughts.)
