Seni Quatro Medium Size Change?

So I generally uses Seni Quatro Medium’s as my nighttime diaper. They work well for me, are affordable, and rarely leak. Unfortunately, after receiving a new shipment I feel like the product has gone through some changes. The diapers feel about the same as far as absorbency, however the Medium feel smaller than they used to be. The production of these new diapers are early to mid 2023 while the last batch I had was from late 2022. I plan to compare the two as I still have like 5 of the 2022 diapers but I wanted to preliminary see if anyone else has noticed a change.

So preliminary I measured the two diapers I had available before heading back from work. It does appear that they have changed the rise of the Medium Seni Quatro. The pictures show that the 2022 model of the Quatro was noticeably longer than the 2023 models I am currently using.

I will open them up when home and see if I can get detailed measurements.

Follow up with pictures. THE MEDIUMS HAVE SHRUNK.

Brief dated 12/9/22
32in in total length
7in in padding width at center of crotch
4in leg cut between the wings

Brief dated 04/15/23
31in in total length
6in of padding width at crotch
3in leg cut between wings

I’m going to try and reach out to Seni regarding these changes and see if it may be a production issues. These are drastic changes in size. Most likely they are intentional as a way to save money but retain a product with similar absorbency to the 2022 production run.

The diapers are posted 2022 to 2023.

That’s too bad. I used to wear them. My only issue was the chaffing on my thighs from that cloth-like backing.

They wouldn’t be the only brand to shrink their absorbent pad over the last 20 years. Diaper shrinkflation was going on long before the economic woes of the last few years.

I hope they don’t change the size on the regular size diaper because that is what I wear.
