Pelvic floor dry needling

I went to the physical therapist today and we discussed pelvic floor physical therapy and they said they could do dry needling for a tight pelvic floor. Has anybody had this done? If so, how did it go?

Acupuncture?

I had a really god PT for tight pelvic floor, they are hard to find, we did some acupressure methods, but acupuncture was never discussed.

@cantwait let us know how it turns out. My hypertonic PT experiences was biofeedback, stretches, and mindfulness (mind over bladder).

If I move forward with it, I will let you know. That’s why I wanted to pose the question here to see if anybody else has any positive experience with it. I’m reluctant to have a needle stuck in my pelvic floor…
