This is my obligatory introduction. I do not wish for that to come across as insincere. Hopefully with a little more experience on this site I will then have better things to share. I have had a long interest in all things related to pants wetting, pooping, desperation and so forth. Diapers included, but not as much or for as long.

I really do not remember anything about diaper wearing from when I was a baby and toddler. I am of the age when they were cloth with waterproof pants. I do have memories of my siblings wearing as I am the oldest of four. My first thoughts of wearing diapers again occurred when I discovered Diaper Pail Friends (DPF) during the 1990s. That is also when the internet gained in popularity. So, through lots of wonderful correspondence and diaper and watersports parties, I met lots of genuinely nice people.

To be honest the term adult baby (AB) never much appealed to me as I do not have a personal interest in seeing myself in that mode. Acting as a surrogate daddy for ABs as tempting as it is, is a conflict for me in my role as a real daddy and grandaddy. Because the term diaper lover (DL) frequently gets lumped in with AB, I tended to steer my interests to the other things mentioned above.

However, more recently I have gained an increasing interest in diaper wearing. If my circumstances would allow me, I would wear them much more often than I do now. I know there a lot of people that had or do have a rough time with real incontinence and bedwetting. So sincerely, I hope I am not insulting anyone when I admit I am just a bit envious.

Well, that is my brief introduction. I look forward to interjecting where appropriate some of my own thoughts and memories. My personal favorite time was from about five years old through my teen years.

Hi and welcome. The website you mentioned diaper pail friends kinda sounds familiar to me and I think I kinda remember going to that website when I was a teenager and we had just gotten the internet. I can kinda remember when we first got the internet and I was going thru puberty and over the summer waiting for everyone to go to bed so I could get online and look up stuff like other people wearing diapers and other websites

I'm incontinent and you are NOT insulting me. I recognize the attraction that "needing" to wear diapers has for someone who "wants" to wear them more often. I do wish we lived in a world where someone saying "I choose to wear (and, optionally use) a diaper today" would draw no more raised eyebrows than someone saying, "I choose to wear my blue shirt with a red necktie." Of course, that's not likely to happen.

I hope you find the freedom to wear and use diapers more often, and I pray that you don't find yourself incontinent. Imagine a situation where you would much rather NOT be wearing a diaper but, for you, not wearing a diaper isn't an option. I'm happy you still have a choice and I hope it stays that way.

Was it the old 56k dial up that took 5 minutes to load a picture. I graduated in 94 AOL and yahoo was just infants and google was not even a thing. We had ask Jeeves instead. Of course it was all pay by the minute to use the net too. If you got 200 minutes a month free you was doing good. Anything over you had to pay extra just like the cellphones at the same time. Yep when I was in school you had to look at improvise if you wanted to look at porn. I cant tell you how many times I rubbed one out to the sears catalog lingerie section. My dad did not keep any dirty books, at least none I could find. LOl

Actually DPF when I discovered it was regular snail mail. The WWW may have existed but DPF want there yet. There is another thread going here dedicated to discussing DPF including a link to a YouTube video.

/Never heard of them. I did not know the ABL community existed tell early 2000s. I was buying depends at a local drugstore and the cashier point blank asked if I was ABDL. I made her explain and at first she did not want to but I insisted., Then I she tells me with people in line behind me . I was red as hell so was she and I never shopped there again. I wanted to bitch to her boss for accusing a person with a medical condition but I just wanted the hell out of that store. I was in my 20's and she was maybe 19 and I was shopping 30 min from home just so no one seen me.

Welcome, @Steve22315! Thanks for a nice intro, and I hope you enjoy the place. Ahh, DPF. The snail mail edition was before my time, but I remember the website. Some of those early sites, along with the fetish newsgroups on Usenet, kind of scared me, but at least I knew I wasn't alone in having this peculiar interest.

I'm a parent also--one in high school, one in college. I understand feeling a little conflicted about this stuff, whether on the caregiving side or just wearing diapers. And obviously, while they're still at home, things have to be well hidden. So far so good, but I've certainly had my close calls! 😬😓

Ha ha. I can't remember how many free minutes my dad's CompuServe subscription included, but I can remember getting in trouble for going WAYYYYY over! I think that was in the 14.4k days. My own computer, which I used to access local BBS for free, had only a 2400 baud modem. That's how you kept your kids safe from online porn in those days: You made it so that downloading even the lowest quality nude picture would take literally all day.
