Hair removal for men?

I saw the Braun IPL mentioned. I have the same model and have had excellent results. but not until I figured out to trick the skin tone sensor into staying at full power. The nether regions have a darker skin tone and the machine would turn the power down to an ineffective level. I taped white pieces of plastic over the sensor windows to keep it at full power and then it worked like a charm on the whole pubic region.

But as was mentioned, consistency is super important. My legs were hair free in about 3 months, most of the pubic region in about 5 or 6 and the deeper areas took about 9 months to almost completely stop growing back with about 2 more months to be completely hair free. Total time was about a year

Just thought I’d share that tip with y’all. IPL is the way to go IMO.
How often were you using the IPL? Once a week or on a different schedule?

Shave and moisturiser after always use sudocrem as my nappy cream or bepanthaneum if I get nappy rash

I was wondering about trying the nair brand for legs vs shaving.

Once a week. Usually Saturday but sometimes I’d slip a few days which is how I pretty much confirmed what I’d read about consistency. If I let it slip too long (pushing 2 weeks) it was like taking a step backwards.

Towards the end when I was battling the last bit of stubborn hair (around the base of the weewee) I tried varying the interval and doing it more often. I went to 2x/week and didn’t see a difference. Went to 3x/week and that only ended up irritating the skin with no change in hair growth. Figured out there was no added benefit to doing it more often than once a week. 5-7 days was the sweet spot.

I felt like I was in a battle with my body over that last area of hair and dammit I was going to win! But just when I was about to admit defeat and give up on that last bit, the hair there finally stopped growing completely. That was just shy of a year. Persistence I guess.

It’s been over a year now and I’ve only had to touch up maybe 3 or 4 times, usually around that stubborn spot but a couple times with the legs, but on the legs it was more like because the hair follicle growth wasn’t on the same schedule so got missed ‘cause I stopped doing the legs after the first three months once hair stopped growing. Probably not enough time to get them all on the same growth cycle. I had to touch up the legs periodically through that year too but now everything on the legs seems to be on the same cycle ‘cause I haven’t seen any growth in months.

Wow, long answer to a simple question! Sorry! :)

To be honest for me just a high quality razor and shaving foam works, it’s a pain to do but much more hygienic as opposed to doing nothing in my opinion (tried at home laser but it didn’t work very well)

I tried a hair removal cream on my legs awhile ago, I clearly remember not having any hair grow for up to four weeks approx

I waxed a couple times - that was pretty much a shitshow!
I’ve done shaving, creams, waxing, epilating (oooowwMF!), and IPL.
Besides IPL I think creams were the most bang for the buck.
Found out the hard way once that there’s a specific cream for the actual genital area! (That was an extra-special kind of pain!!) 😲 Nair bikini something?

I also use Nair, I'm curious if the formula for men smells any better. I have been using the one for women for 10 minutes and rinse off in the shower, most of the time it works well. Just have to be careful not to leave it on too long or the burning sensation is slightly uncomfortable down there. It's nice having less hair that doesn't hold onto the smell as much.

I've been shaving my privates for a while. I admit it can irritate my skin when I shave. Now I have a fairly new partner and she's seen my naked skin. At first she said it kind of looked funny. She keeps herself hairless and I said there was the reason I shave. And she agreed. Cleaning myself simply makes my skin easier when I get out of a dirty diaper. She mentioned that I should use "Nair Bikini Cream." So I tried it. Amazing. No irritating. Smooth. And completely hairless (at least down there).

Have you ever tried this? It was so easy. It's easier to clean-up when you want to remove from BM accidents.

After reading your post I decided to try this. It really did work quite well. A tad bit pricey considering the size of the tube but I will probably buy it again as it is easier. It is difficult to find in stock around here though. I tried thee different stores before I found one and it was the last one on the shelf. I guess there is always Amazon.

You think waxing was painful, try epilating! It’s like waxing in slow motion and it ain’t over quick! 😲

The Nair Bikini Cream is perfect. Here's the deal - you don't have to use it over your hair. I just use from my ass up around my pubic area. I don't use my legs, chest and my arms. Just like the bikini style. I don't think it's that costly. She actually likes the feel. "kind of porn." Mainly it keeps my skin clean and easier. Especially when I have a messy diaper.

Mommy (my wife) used to shave my sparse pubic hair once or twice per month but itchy, unsightly stubble would reappear. The owner of the hair salon she goes to, and her daughter, are both licensed to perform electrolysis and do laser hair removal.
So Mommy made an appointment to have the pubic hair removed from my diaper area. I was anxious because I was afraid it would hurt and because I would have to be undressed in front of the ladies and my penis would be showing.
But it didn't hurt at all. Mommy held my hand and eased my anxiety and the ladies were very gentle and worked as a team. It only took two visits and now I am Baby Smooth except for a tuffet of pubic hair above my diminutive penis. Mommy takes me in once each year for a trim and to remove random hairs that may grow. My wet diapers no longer itch and Mommy and the ladies are pleased with my appearance and the ladies say I look cute.

In my early 20s, I tried Nair and it was a disaster. I followed the instructions to a tee and ended up with a bad chemical burn which resulted in a doctors visit. Talk about embarrassing. I have seen new products on the market specifically for men, however, I'm still apprehensive. Yes I agree with you, smooth is better for clean-up.

I just tried the nair bikini area cream and it really does work, just don’t leave it on too long, I got a small burn in one area but it went away in 12 hours. I find it easier make sure I’m clean with urinary incontinence, don’t have bowel but I think it Definitely keeps extra moister from under the bush away

In my original post I said I thought it worked well. I tried it again and I still think it works quite well. Originally I thought it was a bit pricey. It was around $7.50 for a small tube at Walgreens. This week I found it at Walmart for $3.98. I thought it was a much better price. They had several in stock do I picked three boxes.
