Hi all,
I had to go through the baby isle the other day at one of those big box stores and I was side eyeing every part of the isle thinking how great it'd be to go in and actually look through the isle but knowing I couldn't so I look at everything and see things going man I could use that or this.
So does anyone else do that or am I the only one

The company ABU is well known for allowing people in person into the stores, and to meet the people in their warehouse. I have a video I had where I was opening up the box one day and I started crying uncontrollably because they took so much care to make sure that I was well taken care of after I was not being little for so long. I opened the box and had to cut the video because I couldnt even speak correctly. It was amazing
The video by the way: (Ignore the beard, the channel is no longer active) I had a beard for the reason of being undercover. I get its awkward.

Why can’t you go and take a look? People around you will probably think you’re searching for something for your child.

My only concern would be my family members discovering that I had any of those items...

However, nothing in that aisle would be useful for me anyway, since i'm too chubby to use any of the diapers/pull-up of those sizes...

Natural habitat is the baby isle. If only I fit into those diapers and clothes. The smell of baby fresh powder permeates the air. Instant shopping 🛍️ instincts kick in. I’ve purchased sippy cups, pacifier lanyards, and desitin to name a few of my recent purchases.

I’ve been to the Everett location and tried on diapers and wore them outa the store. Very accommodating and great service from ABDL staff.

If only there was one of those stores near me...

I might not be able to fit anything in the baby aisle but that doesn't mean I don't occasionally walk through one to get a powder or shampoo once in a while. Unless there's another abdl in the aisle with you someone will probably just think you have a kid you're shopping for.

Fair point, but those also hold no value for me...

I can see where that could complicate things. Because in that kind of environment just about everyone knows everything about everyone like who does and doesn't have young family members.

And that issue also comes into play when you work near the store you plan to buy from... Your co-workers, or your repeat customers, could see you in the store and be questioning the purchase of those items...

i feel the complete same as its almost like a compulsion but the hardest part is feeling like others will judge u for getting the stuff when u do want it and get the confidence.

I know what you mean. I wouldn't call my own town "really small," but it's small enough that I've several times run into neighbors and acquaintances while shopping. I guess I'm tempting fate, but I still go down the baby isle and even buy things. If anybody corners me and asks, I'll just say there's a little niece or nephew staying with us.

I live not far from ABU Everett and love going there. It hurt a lot when they got rid of their weekend hours. Hopefully those return at some point. I'm not sure why the beard should be awkward. Lots of us are our own little melting pots of gender, bigness, and littleness. I'm 99.9% sure nobody would see me IRL and think, "There goes Cottontail." Not unless they already knew me. Ha ha.
