Maybe I just don't know how big four to six year olds really are, but I don't see how size 7 or 8 diapers fit them, let along slim adults. The diapers seem so small.
People are hoping that there's more wiggle room in Huggies' number.eu38foot said:Size 8 swaddlers is also rated 46+ lbs.
It's getting ridiculous over this side of the pond,Riddy said:I see the advertised weight is 46+ lbs. interesting the gap keeps shrinking.
Oh my gosh...no wonder we all have great memories of these diapers. I didn't just get big either, diapers just got really small!!Littlebabybecca said:Here are Huggies Little Movers 7 compared to Huggies Baby Steps size 5 from the late 1990's. And yes I can where them both... The Baby Steps are plastic backed and have no stretch other than the leg gathers and the front center. Also they are very thick and hold an incredible amount.

After seeing these comparisons I legit feel like I've been robbed...LOLPadPhilosopher said:Remember when Cadbury shrank their eggs and gaslighted us as having gotten bigger in their ads, until someone went on TV (Jimmy Kimmel show?) And showed the truth?
Did you just happen across the baby steps on eBay? I would LOVE to have vintage diapers that size but I know they fetch a premium.Littlebabybecca said:Here are Huggies Little Movers 7 compared to Huggies Baby Steps size 5 from the late 1990's.
They haven't been made in a long time, and are getting rare.....if you do go to ebay, prepare to feel robbed again!southeastlittle said:After seeing these comparisons I legit feel like I've been robbed...LOL
Time to go to ebay
I think part of that is the allure for diaper collectors like myself. The older stuff is definitely bigger, and it’s noticeable for sure.southeastlittle said:Did you just happen across the baby steps on eBay? I would LOVE to have vintage diapers that size but I know they fetch a premium.
It looks so big next to the newer one that it could easily fit a small adult. And being size 5 is ridiculous to think about vs our ""size 8"" we have nowPaddedRebel said:I think part of that is the allure for diaper collectors like myself.
