That does sound exciting! Remember when you are away from home to be ever watchful of temptation. It will come at you full force, but God will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.
that being said I heard a little saying when I was on Handbell Tour a few weeks ago, "you can't do anything to make God love you more and you can't do anything to make God love you less." That was very enlightening for me.
Lol. I'm LCMS and we totally have our moments as well. I do tire of the denomination thing... just makes me.think of the song "why can't we be friends"
I just moved here to Texas and am looking for a home church and I think I may have found one. Have you been accepted to a university?
If I may ask what kind of Lutheran are you LCMS, ELCA, WELS?
And I can totally see where you are coming from. I wish there was more ecumenicism and Lutherans are sometimes the most guilty of not working with other denominations. But, God is always good so it will all work for his glory.
I've been there. not quite the science thing but I just graduated college. Yay. That verse was also my confirmation verse as well. I thought about saying that but most people are like "confirmation... what's that?" What denomination are you? It sounds like either Catholic or Lutheran, I can't think of any others that do confirmation.
