*shows off his diaper with a Metrolink timestamp and price print on it* is this a valid ticket?

We missed the snow.... but got lots of rain and hail instead :(

I would love it to snow again!

I hope you had a nice Christmas and a good new year. :)

The K5000 has about the same seating arrangements as the old cars, but they probably left one side for wheelchairs and strollers, so there's 6-8 seats missing per side.
Still, it should have more than 20 seats per tram, unless Metrolink fucked up placing an order.

Wait, here's a better one: "Platform 5 for the 1832 First Capital Connect Service to Luton, calling at: City Thameslink, Farringdon, St. Pancras Int'l, Kentish Town, West Hampstead Thameslink, Cri(n :D)cklewood, Hendon, Mill Hill Brwy, Elstree & Boreham Wood, Radlett, St. Albans, Harpenden, Luton Airport Pkwy and Luton". -> http://southtpe.co.uk/sounds/BFR/1832_Luton.mp3

"Ladies and Gentlemen! Not only is it unsafe, it's a violation to ride or walk between cars post and spam between forums except in an emergency or when directed by a police officer or the train crew forum staff. Last time I was in Manchester (for the meet at the end of July); Metrolink was suspended north of St. Peter's Sq. Are they running again? Next time, board at Mosley St - at least they have services coming from either Picc Station or Bury, and it's only around the corner.

And yes, you should go see Sheffield's Supertram. It's the best you can get on your island! And you can trust me on that - I've been on every route of every tram/light rail system in the UK and the Isle of Man (excluding two branches of Newcastle's Metro, but that's more like a subway than light rail). Sadly, I've only been on roughly 30 of Germany's 55 tram/light rail systems :( So I'm not a "tram spotter" but more a "tram rider".

Oh, and speaking of diapers and trams...I've left more than one wet spot on many a tram or train seat.

Harhar...Metrolink. Worst tram system EVAR! Before they replaced the tracks on the former railway lines like 2 years ago, they were able to sell their ride as a rollercoaster adventure. The cars kept shaking back and forth like crazy.

If you want proper announcements, ride Sheffield's Supertram. Best tram service in your country, and informative announcements too..."Welcome to Stagecoach SUpertram. This is the Blue Route Service bound for Halfway via the city centre". Here, I uploaded an mp3 of what it sounds like: WelcomeToHalfwayViaCity.mp3 - download now for free. File sharing. Software file sharing. Free file hosting. File upload. FileFactory.com (sorry for all the damn advertising)

And you really don't need diapers for riding the tube. If you leak all over the platform or seats, it will at least smell of fresh pee rather than the usual stale pee smell
    P
I call the company "ToiletPaperExpress" because of the URL of their website: tpexpress.co.uk.

You should ride the Tube in London more often. Nothing like being told "All change please, all change!" when you have a spare diaper in your backpack ;)

Doing great thanks RA. Hope your doing ok. :)
