I read about "master-slave" relationships (where a "master" processor controls one or many "slave" processors) in my Operating Systems book, which made me giggle and think of other odd CS terminology.

In my S2 I did binomial and Poisson distributions all the time. Not heard of yates correction. S2 was much easier than S1 for me, rather odd. Are you doing further maths as well or just maths?

I luckily scored myself a job for the summer. A job relevant to my studies rather than checkouts or stock cycling at some shop. So It's nice to rack up the work experience, makes my CV some what interesting.

I was pretty much had the right idea about the game being left alone and when you'd come back. Again, I have a lot of software projects on my laptop that lived for a few days and died. I can't count the times that has happened. Although they all have the intention to be published for public use. I would only do that when it's in some polished state. As you never know when these things are done, and the public don't seem to understand that. Saves all the pesky messages of "is it done yet". Because I really can't be bothered to touch something at the moment.

At the same time, if you leave it alone long enough, I tend to find that going back, I forget how it all works. Even with all my comments in. I forget the overall structure and heirachy of the system. So have to spend a little time jogging my memory. Again that is another put off from developing software further.

I did make a little web application recently. I was thinking about the potentiality of it being a TB themed game. But decided against it. Because I couldn't see the fun in it. I mostly do projects for the technical challenge not that type of creativity that broader people can see and use. Although I still want to make something that I can show off to everyone. Because who doesn't want bragging rights?

Ah, I can certainly understand the stress in that case. Yeah, the fees are a bitch, but don't let it pull you down. Even with me on the old fee system, there is plenty of financial support out there, it mostly depends if you are doing a decent degree that the industry needs versus media studies, you'll be fine. And let's not add the fact that you might get some decent job afterwards that is easier to get than most. Or at least it seems to be my plan and it's serving me well.

So exams all over. What are your plans for this summer?

I can sympathise, A levels was a very stresful time for me. Although tomorrow I get my results and end of year grade. So hopefully it will be something good!

Is it the 11th or 18th you'll be getting your results on? Got any good offers from unis you applied to?

Roblox seems a great 3D game for developing such a game your creating i am attempting to make a role-play game in roblox (non *b/dl related), I am quite tallented in lua scripting for this game so I was just wondering if it would work well on roblox ...
