I'm really happy for those people who, like yourself, have found somebody else who shares this arcane... "hobby." That is awesome. I have no expectation that my wife would in any way participate in this stuff with me, though given how long I've had it to myself, that doesn't really sadden me at all. Relative to how long I've been alive, I've been hiding diapers "forever." Still, keeping a secret like this is work that I'll be happy to stop doing--at the right moment! Best, LL.

Yeah, I've been married 12 years. I expect my wife will be accepting. We've both adapted to each others oddities while remaining as in-love as ever. Still, I wouldn't mind putting a few more years between our kids' potty training and the "coming out." Our youngest is only just out of diapers, and I'd rather not have her associating my interest and the kids. If anything, having kids in diapers had a moderating effect on my own diaper habit, but that's probably counterintuitive to a "diaper muggle."

Heya! I am well. Indeed, I've been enjoying the cloth a lot--as much as my scarce privacy allows! Your recommendations and encouragement were definitely appreciated! I don't know what took me so long to try adult-size cloth diapers, but the timing was pretty good, I guess, because quite a few new options seem to have appeared in the last couple of years. One of these days, I suppose I'll have to "come out," at which point going all-cloth might be possible. We'll see! Until that time, however, I expect to remain a schizophrenic cloth/Pampers wearer.

My parents still have my old toddler prefolds. I really need to "borrow" a couple to use as doublers!

Overkill. It's a good word. Awesome, even. I can also say it in French (surextermination, literally over-extermination) and Japanese (オーバーキル, pronounced oubaakiru - yes, it's a loanword from English).

In case you meant this more as in "how are you doing" (I don't think I've heard "what's the good word" used as an expression, but I guess that might be what it means) it's been going steady, meeting a few people from ADISC in Toronto in a week (exiting!) and university is going reasonably well, so no complains.
