yeah, it was cool. The job was part-time and more of a hobby than anything else. I also do some recording and do live sound gigs once in a while. I just love working with my ears.

Actually I am not currently a DJ as I am now no longer employed by the radio station that I was affiliated with at the time I wrote that sig. I've just been lazy at changing it, lol.

Hey man, had a huge power surge here that fried a lot of our stuff, the power surge protection rating thingy on our bar, wasn't strong enough, lol. So our computer got fried, along with our tv, DVD player, and alarm clocks.

i do theatrical lighting =P so i guess that can kinda go hand in hand . Either way im jealous you went to India, hopefully ill be in Australia for a month this summer ^_^

I have a workstation based on the DPS/Leitch VelocityQ video hardware (dpsVelocity Quattrus) - hence my nickname . As an alternative, when I have to do some "light" editing on-site with a laptop PC I normally use Premiere. I do more shooting and editing than effects and animation, in fact I've installed After Effects (that has a specific plugin to work with DPS) on my workstation more than an year ago but didn't have yet the occasion to need it (then, the DPS hardware is already capable of the color correction and effects you need most of the times). It's not that I wouldn't like to get more familiar with video graphics and animation, but it requires a lot of patience!....
