    Interstim or botox thoughts?

I have a Medtronic interstim and it has been life changing. I no longer have accidents (rare) and my frequency and urgency have drastically decreased to what I’d consider normal. I still use pads for drops and drips but it’s very minor. I’m so glad I got the implant!!

    Diaper/Accidents at camp

    That’s horrifying. I’m so sorry 😞

    Temu

I’ve purchased earrings from there. Some of them have been good/nice and others total trash. You never know the quality you’re getting. I also ordered some yarn for crochet that was cheap - and I’m not sure if it ended up being even a decent value. It’s really a crap shoot.

    Thinking of trying Sunkiss nappies

I thought they were quite nice and a good value.

    On stage?

I once was in a live nativity show that kind of was like a play. People walked through a “village” and made stops at different little mini scenes along the way. One year I played the inn keeper snd wore a diaper under my costume. It was convenient and warm 😂

    Occupation

I'm a psychotherapist. Diapers are strictly an at-home off-time activity. I do have OAB and wear pads, but that is different...

    Sacral nerve modulator

I’m normally active, and don’t like extreme sports or martial arts. I have had no limitations, and doctors haven’t made me swear off any particular activities. I live a normal life with the implant. It’s wise to do due diligence prior, but I really doubt there will be any significant negative...

    Sacral nerve modulator

I have had one for four years. It has been life changing. Very simple and pain free. I would not recommend the rechargeable one, folks seem to have more trouble. There’s a good Facebook group with people who have the interstim. I have the one that’s mri safe and has to have the battery switched...

Let’s get to know one another a little better!

    1. Is your incontinence urinary, bowel, both, or neither? urinary. Lifelong issues with bedwetting with varying intensities and causes. Currently OAB, and have a spinal sacral nerve implant which resolved the intensity of leakage by 90% 2. Are your diapers disposables (tab) , cloth, pull-ups...

Has your outlook changed - for the older guys and gals

my relationship to diapers has ebbed and flowed over the years - but has always always stayed present - and continues to be now that I’m in my 40s. Today it’s less sexual and more of a coping mechanism or comfort object than when I was in my teenage years. But I’ve accepted it I will always like...

Where in Spokane, Washington can you get AB/DL diapers

I lived in that area for many years. It is rather small and quite conservative. I have my doubts any mom and pop shop will be specifically AB/DL. There are a few medical supply stores in and around the main hospital neighborhood (Deaconness and Sacred heart are within blocks of each other on the...

    TryAgains are out!!

I just can’t bring myself to drop 4-5$ per diaper. My goodness.

    Considering Transition but…

This is untrue. The rates of regret are minuscule. Even when revisions are necessary or results aren’t perfect. Gender affirming surgeries have among the lowest rates of regret among any known surgical procedures (under 2%). Knee replacement, spinal fusions, and even facelifts have far far far...

    Interstim Implant

That’s an observation that I haven’t frequently reflected on. Before my implant I also had a LOT of bladder pain when it would be spasming. Not a ton of leakage or accidents, but gosh, a major amount of pain every day all day. Since my implant, the pain is essentially zero. Amazing little...
