There is simply no way I can answer this question. There are way too many songs to narrow the list down to a reasonable length. Ugh, this is making my brain hurt! I can't do this! However, I will observe others choices with curiousity.

Even now I can't chose the best 5 songs. However I will make a list of 5 of my favorite songs but they might change at anytime for other great songs.

These songs are in no order at all.

"Certain Death" - Brad Sucks (his music is all free and I highly suggest you give his music a try, its free after all.)
"Black Comedy" - Bright Eyes
"I Hate Everyone" - Get Set Go (great for when your pissed off.)
"Your Not Going Anywhere" - Brad Sucks (again FREE!!!!)
"Anyone Else But You" - Michael Cera And Ellen Page (cover)

Gah, quite the hard one to Compile, but I know my #1 for sure. The rest aren't in order:

1. Kryptonite - 3 Doors Down
2. Octavarium - Dream Theater
3. Hypnotize/Question!/Soldier Side/Spiders - System of a Down (These would be strong contenders for 1st. I couldn't choose one over the other.)
4. Stellar - Incubus
5. Where did you Sleep Last Night? - Nirvana

Wild World - Cat Stevens
Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence - Dream Theater
Whatsername - Green Day
All These Things That I've Done/When You Were Young - The Killers
I'm Going to go Back There Some Day - Gonzo the Great

System of a Down is a good band, any chance you listen to some of Serj Tankian solo songs?

Not as much as I do System of a Down itself, his solo work was alright, but I was bummed when they broke up. I was at their last show before the breakup. They finished the song and give a speech, then Serj goes "This will be our last performance. We are taking a break, and we aren't sure for how long." The ENTIRE audience went silent for like a whole minute as they walked off, we all waiting hoping it was a lie and they were going for an encore....And nothing...

But back to the point, not as much as SOAD itself. I do listen to some of Daron Malakian's stuff though, his new band Scars on Broadway, it's a decent band.
