I get that after I quote someone on a thread...I can still do the quoting and posting and everything, it just shows up at the bottom of the text box...What does it mean, since I know I'm quoting a post from the thread

You probably have, at some point, and just forgot about it. It usually keeps track of it for a while (until you are logged out).
