Winters f**ked up.

I just had a snowstorm last night where I am and I really don't like it. To be honest it can be hard to deal with and get through. But we are surviving so far.

I am sensitive to the cold these days ..
For me the only 'up' in winter is the fact it goes away 😊 . I'm looking forward to spring! Yay !

Love bright shinny winters day, even when they are cold - perfect for working in a wood (When most work can be done) get manked off with long periods of continuious grey and rain. Winter sun holidays are fabulous and probably better than summer holidays and certainly raises the spirits (did 10 days in Cabo Verde for my recent 60th in late November).

Mother was preparing dinner and her son came into the kitchen, he asked "can I make dinner today?"
Mother said "well okay then ! , you finish up this last part , that I am doing , and I can quickly go to the shops 😊"
When Mother returned, the house was burned 🔥 down ! The husband , standing outside said "how can you leave a young boy to prepare dinner !"
Mother replied.." hmm.. I was only making fruit salad."

Winter's been that way here in Kentucky, too: we can go from 70F one day clear down to -6F and back another day...from downpours of rain to "wintry mix", from snow to sun...sometimes in rapid order. And these narrow, hilly roads don't help much, LOL.

I've seen the temperature here plunge 40 degrees in an hour...from 80F to 40F. Scary. Let's hope it lets up soon! Hang in there!

Today here in Virginia it was pouring rain and the temp. in the 40s. It was a miserable day. I hate winter as it keeps me grounded in the house for the most part.

Just the typical stuff we deal with this time of year in Michigan. Worst thing about it is I have a 40 min drive on a good day let alone shitty weather. Anxiety is often through the roof.

I personally like winter, but NZ winter is very mild compared to US or UK winter so I would understand why people hate it.
