why is Trump getting so much hate?

I thought he was a pretty deplorable human being way before he got into politics. He's failed pretty spectacularly to soften my views on him since he got down his golden escalator...

He was a pretty good trash reality TV show host, though. And I do mean that as a compliment.

He gets so much hate because of the Deep State/Main Stream Media Complex. I don't like everything he does, but it is obvious that being a rich white male president is not what the globalists are positioning for. The powers that be want America to be another EU leading to a one world government order ruled by an oligarchy communist elite. This country is about individual God-given freedoms enshrined in our constitution. They hate that and hate him for it.
I really never understood why the (((Globalists))) would hate Trump, tbh. When looking at his actions he's been an excellent president for the Davos crowd. If nothing else the so called ((Globalists))) are extremely afraid of the left at the moment, far more than by Trump or the various alt-right leaders - heck, the Wall Street journal straight up endorsed Bolsonaro, who is basically a caricature of what left leaning Americans think Trump is.

To put it very simply; part is his own Behavior, and an equally big part (if not bigger) is the Anti-Trump Shit Storm on the Majority of the news channels, I mean it never ends and most of it has nothing to do with the Presidency.

I think the reason Trump garners so much hate is because he wants to. Hate is a form of attention, and he craves attention above seemingly all else. So, he says and does very divisive things so that some people love him and others hate him; he's happy because everyone is paying attention to him either way.

If I had to summarize in one reason why he is a poor president, it's because, from what I have seen, he prioritizes his personal interests (attention-seeking included) above those of the country.
That is definitely what trump seems to be going for. I suspect the biggest underlying cause of that is due to a shift in overall thinking. Younger people (at least in the US) are generally becoming more accepting of groups such as other religions, LBGTs, fetishes, etc. Most of the "old school" conservatives probably fear that their way of thinking is going out the window, hence, they use trump to try to continue it. Although if anything, they have shut down their ideology even further by doing so.

Because I disagree with him on.... yup, almost everything. And he's an untrustworthy hypocrite. there's no reason to like him... he's just not a good person in the first place. It makes me sad that so many people are actually okay with him. I guess some people will excuse anything :(

I was told by a few people why
"to trigger liberals"
I would do anything for a time machine and tell our founding fathers this, it is likely why they had voting restricted to the elite at first to begin with.

I call myself a centrist... some of what I believe in lies more to the right... some of it lies to the left.

In my opinion, a lot of Trump's hate comes from his own incompetence. It doesn't help that he's blasting himself all over various forms of media... when you do that, expect to get hate... especially if you're behaving as poorly as Trump.

My father, who is a staunch Republican, has said that Trump is the worst Republican candidate (now president) he's ever seen.

People on both sides don't like him... it's not just a liberal thing to not like him.

Because he ran as Republican. Prior to that, he was a fairly cool as far as the First and Second estates were concerned. After all, "if it's not on the Left, it's not right" as the philosophy goes.

For instance, his wall: it wasn't racist when Democrats wanted border security and a barrier. Now, since he's in favor of it, they oppose the idea because of it's expedient.

He certainly has made great strides and accomplished a lot towards lowering the bar of conduct for the highest office in our land. I'll give him that.

And I have had several people tell me his speeches in full are very different from the Snippets you see on most news stations.

What they mean by that is the News Stations will edit the video down to the things he has said that sound bad if that is all you hear from his speeches, and that is all they show you.

Such as his whole Mexian speech; they edited that down to "Mexico sends us their worst, They are Rapists, and Murderers, And Some I Assume are good people" and condense Speeches that last an hour down to one minute to make him look bad.

The clergy and the hereditary nobility actually probably like him more, not less, since he became a Republican. Or at the very least it's a mixed bag.

Multiple people have told me they actually watched his full speeches, (however long they were) and that the News Stations condense it down to the worse bit; media editing at it finest eh?

It's like if you sat down for an interview and said "they want to make it sound like I hate Mexicans" and the interviewer edits it to the part where you said "I Hate Mexicans" and that's all the interviewer put on his talk show

It would clearly show you as some kind of a Racist purely out of context and it wouldn't matter if your full interview was 90 minutes long, that 2 second Sound Clip would be all that people know you for and would judge you for it instead of actually listening to the full interview and then deciding if they support you or not.

I'm not saying "There is no way Trump is a Racist" ; but you gotta do your own research on things and get the full story before you decide to condemn someone based off of a minute taken out of an hour long speech; the full speech will give you a clear picture what kind of a person Trump really is and if that aligns your opinion with news editing; so be it.

I know Trump is a moron and he does lots of stupid things, but is he even half the monster the majority of the News Stations want you to believe?

I dont believe that; it's all political BS for views, regardless of the Truth.

I honestly don't think there is any explanation for how Trump has behaved with regard to the Central Park Five other than racism. That episode of his life, more so than anything he's said or done since, really colours my view of everything else he says. And it's not like he's ever apologized for it, or even admitted he was wrong.

agreed, he does not need special editing to look bad such as:
all the special editing does is make it funner and or show all his facepalm moments.

If you want to see a true example of mass misrepresentation of something said, look up al gore's "inventing the internet"

as I said before, it has nothing to do with him being Republican, it has to do with HOW HE ARTICULATE HIS IDEAS and anything that reflects his standing, MAGA hat, this wall, that he wants it for his PRIDE more then helping our country, yes it might as well be racist. It has an attached symbolism with his "Mexico will pay for it" "Mexico brings rapists", etc... Wanting something that might be positive (I do not think his plan is but lets just assume it is) is done from the wrong reasons ... then people have a high chance to reject his ideas because of those wrong reasons. This is a very real concept and not limited to trump.

so ya that is trump's fault.

Btw, I think you do well to note, being too strong right, anti- left does make you just as blind as the people you claim as blind.

In pre-Revolution France the First and Second were the aristocracy and clergy, respectively, for your information. In modern America, the First is the politician and the Second the celebrity.

Not to take this thread off the rails, but I legitimately can't find any reference to those usages of first and second estate in the American context. The (American) dictionaries I've look at only have the clergy / nobility / commoners definitions.

I think probably because of people like this, who cannot be objective:

Maybe because he never stops lying? Or his narcism? Because he is mocking everyone he doesn’t understand?
Regardless of whether he gets things done, and whether you agree on his agenda or not, he is worse than other presidents because of his lack of presidential behaviour.

I totally disagree. Trump is a successful capitalist and he shows his achievements daily. The United States are great and it's time that the Europeans and other NATO members pay their fair share toward keeping the world safe. The media needs to back off and let President Trump do his stuff. Remember--The United States will never be a socialist nation. A barrier needs to be made between US and Mexico so we can survive as a nation.

It's my personal definition. The politician, the professors, and the celebrity are their own little club that always votes the same way and are totally alienated from the common citizen.
