Why can't ABDL companies make all-baby blue diapers with baby prints?

3 days ago, I was disappointed to hear that ABU's Space diapers have just been vaulted, since that's one of a few (if not, the only) ABDL diaper that's all-light blue with baby prints. I was thinking about buying these diapers next, but they don't have size XL (my diaper size) in stock and it will not be restocked. Just recently, we got at least a few plain baby blue ABDL diapers, but they don't have baby prints since they're not going for a babyish look. Just a few years back, there was at least 2 all-baby blue diapers with baby prints, one was DC Idyl, which seems to be gone, while the other, which was Lil Squirts Splash had their base color changed from baby blue to white. I know there's at least a few all-pink ABDL diapers with baby prints like Dotty the Pony and Crinklz Fairy Tale, so why we couldn't have all-baby blue diapers with baby prints anymore? We do really need more all-baby blue ABDL diapers with baby prints, because baby blue seems to be one of the most popular diaper colors.

LFB(Little For Big) Little Dreamers
LFB Nursery Blue
LFB Astro Babies (has other pastel colors)
Bambino Cloudee (odd color blue but blue none the less)
Rearz Dinosaur (mostly blue with other color characters)
Rearz Little Monsters (same as above)
Rearz Critter Caboose (same as above but less blue and more other colors)

While not ideal, Little Dreamers being the closest in print and color, these are still options to consider if blue is your favorite color. There may be a couple others out there that I couldn't find in my fairly quick search.

Idk, I didn't find ABU Space diaper all that appealing when it came to infantile looking diapers. It seemed to me they were more or less geared toward preteen/teen boys as far as the design went. I mean what infant is really into space, rockets, telescopes and meteors?
I tried them once. I didn't care for the blue as it wasn't a pastel baby blue and I definitely didn't like the plastic because it felt rather stiff and more like a vinyl instead of a softer plastic.
There are plenty of baby blue, boy themed ABDL diapers on the market, ABU Space just wasn't one of them.
Again not sorry to see them vaulted.

I absolutely despise baby designs, especially on adult sized diapers.
Diapers with baby designs is the opposite of what the purpose diapers should be.

SO miss the DC Idyl diapers! So soft, crinkly, incredible plastic and awesome cute design!

I'm not a big fan of pinstripes on the sides of LFB Little Dreamers diapers, plus they don't have it in size XL, while Bambino Cloudee and parts of Rearz Critter Caboose are actually light green, not light blue. The rest of those diapers are partially light blue.

LFB diapers run big. The large is very comparable to a majority of XL sizes of ABU, Tykables, Rearz and Bambino. I wear an XL in these diapers and the LFB large fit the same. The tapes land in the same area as the XL. The only difference I noticed is the rise. LFB diapers aren't as long as the above mentioned.

LFB Little Dreamers would be my pick for a blue, babyish diaper--not that this bunny ever needs such a thing. ;) It's interesting with blue diapers though: The exactly blue used really defines my overall impression, more so than with pinks in the girl-themed diapers. Some blues, like on the Cloudee and Space diapers, really put me off.

LOL. One wonders why the chemical symbol for potassium was used. Surely sodium would've made more sense.

Bambino Cloudee looks too green to me. I was talking about blue diapers, not green diapers.

(Hello Bello)
This isn't the infant choosing the design. Given a choice the infant would choose something more playful that they can identify with.

You don't want to get either of them wet.

ehhh?

Well, everyone has a different take. I respect your opinion, but I highly disagree.

If you are not incontinent and yet want to wear diapers, there is often a connection with being little that goes along with this desire. Hence the wanting for a baby print and design. However, if you are incontinent and do not have any ABDL interests or DL desires, then that does make a lot of sense.

But just as in diapers, one size does not fit all.

I assume you’re talking about the outsides and not the insides. :)

EDIT: Oh, you were talking chemistry. I’m half asleep, LOL.

I despise them a bit less because there is market demand for them...and the industry does rise to the occasion. On occasion...

To me, it all hearkens back to a certain Luvs commercial after Pampers & Luvs traded stature seats & Luvs became the bargain brand...during their "Live and learn, then get Luvs" phase: "You can spend your money on diapers with cute prints, designs & features...but why? They're diapers!!!"

My opinion: I prefer designs on things that last, like diaper covers, clothing...diapers come and diapers go. The only feature that excites me about diapers is how well they stop leaks, something the industry refuses to put a little more focus on because they use the same faulty design premise. All of them. And I have yet to find a design that protects from leaks better than the next design. I'd certainly buy...but the industry isn't buying it. To them, function before form is out. It's all form...the Next Big Cute Print. That's why my buying & use of diapers is limited, especially to whites & solids.

Same. I never really liked how dark the Space is and the characters/print is a bit mundane. The Cloudee isn't my cup of tea either. Both would fit the category of printed adult diaper (like the City diaper) better than adult baby diaper.

Agreed. So many have hyped up their next big diaper only to be just as terrible at stopping leaks as the last one. Ooo but loOk! It's pretty! :cautious:

With ABU talking big talk about what's coming next I'm not really expecting much. Especially since they had something really decent with the AlphaGators and LittleKings and decided to ruin them by cutting their functional absorbency almost in half. More SAP doesn't mean more absorbency. Just a better ISO rating. And they didn't even add SAP. They just cut out a lot of the 'inert' materials that made the first gen wick better than even the PeekABU. I really thought they had turned a corner and started to figure it out. 🤷‍♂️

But even with baby diapers, I like the designs from The Honest Company and Hello Bello, because for the most part, their diapers look really cool, and not babyish.

These are pretty much useless until they start plastic spot welding the tabs to the plastic back sheet. Currently it's just like pressing some adhesive tape to a sheet of cotton candy and it predictably stretches and shears right off the wing.

If you just want to see in a mirror or snap some cute photos it's fine. But if you actually try to use them and go about your business for a few hours, extended movement or tossing and turning inevitability leads to severe loosening and eventually falling apart. Long before they ever come close to capacity.
