When tabs tear / break

I put my bunnyhops on tonight and one of the two tabs tore/ broke when I laid down. How do you fix this problem when it happens?

Hi, I usually put extra tape around the diaper waistband and that keeps the tapes from tearing off.
To use your nappy, you just have to let nature take its course.

Try waiting until you REALLY have to go. Don't force it. Assume the position you normally use for going potty; even do it by the toilet. You have to overcome years of muscle memory.

I don't have tips for the tapes, but when I first started wetting. I had to sit on the potty with my diapy on then id stand up mid flow then after I could stand on tile because I was nervous of leaks. Now I can do it anywhere as long as I have a diapy on

Generally speaking, familiar places help, as do places where leaks are easily dealt with. My breakthrough as a kid was standing in the shower. Once I’d built up some confidence in my diaper, using it in other places and positions became easier.

I managed to just stand up and go. I was worried they would leak so I stood over the shower but there were zero leaks

Very so often that does happen to me I use use clear packing tape .

Boys are used to going potty standing up and I never had trouble wetting in that position, also in the position a boy sits in on the potty to poop. Other seated and lying-down positions require that I have to go real bad, and position changes. Driving I can't potty at all.

I tried all night and even this morning to go in bed but it wasn’t happening. It took a while to manage to pee standing but I had to because of my medical issue, I had a blockage and I could only pee standing up a trickle at a time until I had surgery to fix that, but that same surgery went from me
Not being able to pee much, to peeing myself by accident. I guess it’ll take time to train my body but i will keep at it. I’d rather go in my nappy since I’m leaking anyway

This is an advantage of pull ups. Sometimes the tabs are faulty so you have have spares.

only option is using some tape to keep it closed like packing tape
or grab a new diaper

You likely spent years being toilet trained and going on purpose in a diaper is not something your body is just going to do.
You can try sitting on the toilet with diaper on when you have to use the washroom and see if that helps you pee your diaper

I had to learn how to let it go. Such an amazing feeling. It’s tough to train your mind at first, but when I’m in little space, I’m not allowed to go into the bathroom. 🤷‍♀️

I managed to not break the tabs tonight yay 😁 I wish they did extra tabs for bunnyhops I’d buy them. Anyways trying again tonight to just relax everything enough to wet my nappy laying down. The strange thing is if I don’t wear a nappy I wet myself but when I wear them my bladders a little shy
