When did you know you were a CG?

Everyone has a story of how they entered this community. Albeit many of those stories come from a AB or DL’s perspective, but I want to hear about how caregivers found this kink?

For me, I found puppy play and fell in love with that kink. I knew right away that I was an owner and wanted a puppy. Tumblr was my main way of joining the community and many of the puppies I followed also had side blogs for their “little” side. That’s how I found ABDL. Seeing cuties in diapers, wearing onesies, and sucking pacifiers caused me to put a name to what I like.

What’s your story?

I was writing articles about different subcultures/'unusual' lifestyles and ABDL popped up, and the more research I did, the more I realised it might be something I'd want to look into!
I'd always been enchanted by the idea of cute, gentle, goofy, upbeat men- usually fictional characters, a la Matt Smith's Doctor. This in particular piqued my interest because it's such a departure from the oppressive hypermasculine ideals that run rife in society.
Of course valid, adorable littles come in any gender, but the idea of a man wanting to be held and played with and nurtured seemed like such a rare and exciting opportunity!
I've only played a little bit in party settings, but I've always imagined it as a dynamic I might like to pursue in the future with a compatible partner. ABDL or not, we're all interacting with each other's inner children, and I think that should be acknowledged and embraced a whole lot more!

Interesting. Basically the same reason I enjoy being little. Tune out and completely reject our current hyper macho man society so full of needless flexing and competition and aggression and dominance. Everyone walking around so full of themselves with their half closed smug eyes giving everyone else glaring stinkeye and looking for an angle to 1-up the total stranger next to them for no reason. Let it all burn.
☢️ 💣🔥

Adults in idle chit chat always digging for an advantage. Always want to know where you work, what do you do, what side of town you live on, let me walk you out so I can see what kind of car you drive. Sizing you up and seeing if they are better than you or not.

Little kids just want to know your favorite color and favorite Pokémon and what kind of pizza you like.

What an interesting way to discover the kink!

Yes, I love that it is the complete opposite of the masculine ideals too! I like men who look like they are super masculine and the stereotypical “alpha” of a group but behind closed doors they just want to be cuddled and cared for.

I’d say pursue it if it’s something you are really interested in and want to do with your partner.

My abdl friend introduced me to his abdl, and I am also an early childhood teacher. I have found that I get a lot of fulfillment with taking care of kids as I do Littles, in most aspects. I am still pretty new to all the abdl stuff.
