Being full time in a power chair and full time IC as for dispees localy I wear Tranquility ATN for any kind of long distance travel or where changes may be irregular or infrequent at all , I used to wear Abena but have found the Northshore Supreme to have a better front end, tape the bottoms down very tight and point up, I can get 12 hours out of a Northshore when needed, of course you are sitting on most of the absorbency of the diaper, so if you can tilt or recline and shift your weight around its a major help, and always wear a good "blowsing" pair of rubber pants or rubber bloomers, I have been saved several times by the water balloon ability of the pants, to allow urine to build up in the center of the pants when the diaper became over saturated, also if you can dress down ( look like you are wearing sweats) the European Pajamas. UK site sells pants and shorts that can absorb like 30 Oz independent of any diaper, they also do not show publicly the internal state of wet/dryness, not everybody (like all things ) likes them but they are an option and a final level of defense against leaks or embarrassment, also make sure to put a disposable chux over your cushion and use an IC cover over your cushion , if wetness gets that far you can machine wash and dry it and we'll it going take the cushion outside or into the shower and give it a good hose down, my final advice is Adaptable designs makes a wheelchair bag that will conveint lyrics hook to most any chair or walker , it is large enough to store legal tiles, or to be a handy diaper bag, it will easily hold 3 or 4 Northshore Supremes fresh pants, a changing mat as well as any skin products you may use ( lotion, powder ,cream) has a handy, place forb id's , keys as well as wet or dry wipes, this company has provided me usefull bags the whole time I have been in a chair (13+ YEARS) and I have not worn one out yet ( side note the woman Mary who owned the company wanted to retire and almost closed the business, until some clients , users of her bags came along and bought the company so we would continue to have access to high quality usefull stuff designed and made by your fellow wheelers.
If I can help in any way with info or opinions on resources or programs for the disabled or IC do not hesitate to PM or post me me I will be glad to help anyway I can.
