Hello everyone, I am going to be making a diaper bag (since I’m gonna try wearing 24/7) and just wanted to know what I should put in it. Like spare diapers obviously, but what else?

Pretty much the same items you would use at home when you change your diaper.
  • Powder
  • Rash creams or ointments
  • Wipes
  • Plastic bags for used diapers
  • Hooks (to hang your diaper bag in a stall so it doesn't sit on the floor)
  • Extra pair of pants (in case of diaper leaks)

Thank you, what kind of hooks should I get? Like are there kinds that attach and detach easily? And do you have any rash ointment recommendations?

I don't use rash ointment so I don't have any recommendations. I am sure others will reply with their favorite ointments.

Any type of hook that can easily be put over the door or wall of a stall and hold your diaper bag. Walmart, Lowe's and other stores sell hook specially made to put over a bedroom or bathroom door. These should work ok.

I would add spare shirt, shoes and socks to that list (blow outs can be spectacular), and make you you always have a couple more diapers packed than you’ve calculated you’ll need.

Will do! I’ll have to find a bag that can hold this all though

Small backpack stays in car with room for three diapers, travel wipes, travel baby powder, rash cream and some empty plastic shopping bags if want more discrete disposal. Bag can be carried or left in car if close by.

The portable hook for over-the-stall hanging of your bag could be helpful, but since my diaper bag is a backpack, can change standing up without ever putting the bag down. Many bathroom stalls have a hook, but some don't. And of course, depending on where you're at, a bathroom isn't a requirement for a diaper change! One of the joys of diaper use is simply needing a appropiate (probably private) place, not a bathroom. Most of my kinky chosen family is used to diaper changes - plopping down on the living room floor and getting changed in front of others (preferably with help!) is normal in THAT company.

Complete blowouts and leaks requiring a change of clothes have never really been a consideration - yes it COULD happen, but really hasn't or was easily hidden until dry. Butt - poop sometimes goes sideways / tummy cramps. Closest this puppy came to needing change of clothes was in the car going to work and had unexpected major cramps that actually caused a blowout - turned around and went home where changed before trying again! That was years ago. Have had other unexpected messy diapers in public / work without blowouts where a (more involved) diaper change was possible without running home.

Biggest thing with 24/7 wearing is 1. learning to wet early and often so you're not flooding - diapers are GREAT at absorbing small releases, but prone to leaking with large floods no matter how dry - it takes some time for the diaper to lock away the wetness, so even if you didn't leak when flooding standing up, sitting down to soon can cause leaks. 2. Change your diaper before you need to worry about leaking.... It's too easy (for this puppy at least!) to get distracted and neglect this until a leak happens / it's to late! Would love to have a caretaker keeping an eye on this pups diaper, a lot of leaks coulda been avoided!

To be fair, this puppy is diaper training, so never wants to hold back and is always diapered. Your 24/7 wants and needs will differ - 24/7 wearing doesn't mean you have to not hold it, can't use a toilet, etc. - do what makes you happy! But if you need a diaper bag / changes, presumably you'll be using your diaper too!

if you soaked your diaper, excess pee fills your current rubber pants, later you will smell of pee.
