Well, I WAS thinking of discussing this in other threads but since they aren't open.. Anyway, I'm just rather curious about this and am quite a animal lover. <3

I have 3 dogs (dachund/dalmation mix, chow/lab mix, and a female retriever)
3 kats, 2 champagne ferrets, and a feesh.

a Pet I WOULD like to have is a fennec fox, a coon or a mongoose!
And for a random thought: giving one of them a patch of purple on their tail.

I have 1 dog. I used to have two, including the one I have now. But the dog (Lady) had to be put-down. She got too sick. I remember the night my mom told me. I cried all through the night. She was with me as long as I could remember. We got her at the pound. She had such a hard life with her previous owner - one of the employees said she got beat constantly. Whenever the owner saw her, he would throw rocks at her. Thanks to that, she got a broken hip. She got a fake one, but they put it in a uncomfortable position. We named her Lady because whenever she crossed her arms when she laid down - which was often. Even though lady was a sheep dog, she hated to walk. Her hip would start to hurt. I remember me and my sister pretending to baa like a sheep. She would start barking. That was fun. One time, when it was Easter, I got a HUGE chocolate bunny. We went to my grandma's Easter party. When we came back home, the chocolate bunny's feet was only left, and lady had chocolate on her lips. We were suprised she didn't get hurt or anything. She just got sick. But that's not when she died. The night I was told she died, that was the first time I cried because someone died - My great-grandma (or "Mom" she liked to be called) died before her, and during my lifetime. My sister cried, but I didn't. I had to keep strong. I just HAD to. But the night Lady died, I just lost it. I couldn't control it. I loved her with all my MIGHT. She was the best dog someone could have. She was part of my LIFE. We had her cremated, so we would always be near her. In the box with her ashes are the gold plated letters - L-A-D-Y. And that is the name of the best dog that ever walked this planet.

I don't have any pets. When I lived with my mother we had 2 dogs. But when I moved out I decided not to have any pets due to me not being home vary much. Hoping in the next few months to get my all time wanted pet. A emperor scorpion. I bought a large fish tank at a yard sell a few weeks ago and already have it set up. I've always wanted one but my mom wouldn't let me. Now that I have my own house I will have one.

And now I'm crying. What a nice person you are. I read your post to my wife just now. As for me, my wife and I have a golden retriever. Several weeks ago I discovered a growth on her back between her shoulder blades. I brought her into the vets and they were afraid of cancer. She's 9 years old so I was worried. They removed the tumor and the report came back that the tumor was benign (not cancerous). She's back to wagging her tail. It's so hard to lose a dog and I know that time will come, so I enjoy every moment that I'm with her.

I have a sheep dog as well. She is 10 years old, and her name is Cali. She has arthritis in her back and legs... She was on a medication for it called Rimadyl, but that shit made her have violent seizures whenever she started to dose off. Now that she's off it, she is just... Different. Very paranoid.

I waaaaaaant... A fox, a wolf, a skunk, a ferret, a squirrel, and maybe a hedgehog!
Not all at the same time though! That would be chaotic!

I have two dogs at my house. A Black Labbe and a Mutt thats a golden retriever-Blue heiler Mix (He turned out white with black and blue spots lol!)

My dream pet is to have a wallaby (miniature kangaroo). Ever since i met my cousins from Australia, I've been fascinated with marsupials from there. Especially the kangaroos, wallaroos, and of course the wallabies. I even live by a guy who owns them. He also owns a buncha camels, elk, ostriches and llamas.

I like the wallaby because its essentially a kangaroo but is easier to maintain. It eats less and isn't quite as dangerous. I love animals, but wallabies are my number one pick when it comes to pets. Believe it or not, but my name "Wambles" is actually a nickname that derived from my love for wallabies

I have 2 cats and they are awesome!!!

I'd like either a kangaroo, a narwhal or a velociraptor. They are all equally awesome as my cats but just a bit different, admittedly the kangaroo is the only one that I could even dream of but I'd like all of them.

We used to have a dog called Rocky. He was a Collie who we found in a rescue centre, we had no idea how old he was but were told by the rescue people he was about 11. So since we had him about 8 years he probably got close to the worlds oldest dog. He didn't like me though. Not in a he'd growl and bite way but in a sort of "sibling rivalry" sort of way. Like if I asked him to move off the sofa he'd ignore me and take up more space, but if my mum or ANYONE ELSE did he'd jump straight off and lie on his own bed. Strange pet but it was quite funny.

That was a coupe years ago, he had a dog version of a stroke and we took him to the vets and...well you know what I'm talking about.

Never had another one due to work but first thing on my list when I move out is a cat. But I'd love a pet raccoon.
I don't really like the idea of domesticating everything but I really think a raccoon would be a cool house companion.

I have an adorable cat who I am completely besotted with. She is the cat in my profile picture - I got her as a kitten just over a year ago, and I spoil her rotten. She is like my baby, I am so glad I made the decision to get a cat :) In the future I hope to have many more cats.

My dream pet would probably be a monkey - I watched a documentary a couple of years ago called 'My Monkey Baby' about people in America who had pet monkeys. Admittedly most of the people on the show took having a pet monkey to the extreme, dressing them up in little clothes and treating them as real children (one couple referred to their monkey as their 'daughter' and got offended if anybody ever referred to it as a monkey, all their real children had disowned them as a result!), but I wouldn't take it that extreme. I would still want my monkey to be able to be and act like a monkey, I would live amongst some nice woodland so the monkey had a place to play. But yeah, that is what I would want. Unfortunately I don't think monkeys are allowed as pets in the UK.

I have a mostly white cat which is part Siamese. He is a good cat though somewhat timid around people. No other pets in mind.

I have a really stupid dog (female, her name's Miko) and two betta fish (one male, one female; named Tank and Witch respectively).

I totally want a turtle, though. I'd name him Crispin. And a kitty, but I'd have a severe allergic reaction and go into shock, then die with a kitty toy in hand. And definitely another dog, whom I would probably name Gordon or Kuroo. (I'm nerdy like dat.)

Currently, I only have one pet. A Cocker-Spaniel named Coco.

Growing up, we had mostly dogs, a few cats, a couple rabbits, and a goat. My favorite dog was a mutt named Tippy. She was a German Shepherd and Husky mix with a little wolf in her too. I loved Tippy! We had from when I was in kindergarten up through 10th grade. Unfortunately, Tippy broke her chain one day, and we could never find her. :(

Bill E. Goat was a good goat! We had him on a cable stretched up on the hillside. He never went hungry because he ate all the grass on that hill which was good that he did because with the steep grade of the hill, it was nearly impossible to use a lawnmower on it, even a riding mower would slide down the hill like a runaway truck.

As for a pet I would like to have. I think I would like to have a fennec fox because they are legal to own in Pennsylvania. I have seen videos of domesticated fennecs online, and they seem more playful than a dog, and cuter than a cat. That or a skunk, though domesticated skunks have their scent glands removed.
Or for a more exotic pet, perhaps a tiger.

I would like a Lion or a Tiger but I doubt if I could manage that due to the dangerous wild animals act. BUT I "might" be able to have a cheetah in a few years time, my house is/was part of a smallholding, I have the room and I will have the money to have a LARGE encloseure that would go all the way around the parimiter of the house. A big cat needs lots of love and lots of room amongst other things. The house would be his/hers too.

I have two cats that rock the socks off of everyone because they are so awesome :) One black cat named Evangeline and a brown and black one named Annabelle. Annabelle will always make herself comfy on my lap when I sit down, sort of pushing things that aren't her (like my computer, my hands, my video game controller, etc), away from her spot with her nose ^^ Evangeline likes to sleep with her head on my neck and massages my shoulders with her paws. Cute.

I would love a fox. Seriously. I think NC allows Fennec Foxes as pets, but I'm not sure they would mesh with my kitties.
