If enabled on the UserCP Options Page, this feature adds a "Panic" button to every post. The panic button will, when pressed, whisk you away to another URL of your choice.

Good if you want a quick way to navigate to a "safe page" when friends/family/etc enter the room.

Neat, could be very useful for most people (excluding me, I lock my door), and you if you suddenly feel like watching YouTube videos or search something on Google, you just have to click on the button. XD

LOL!

I use tabs and firefox to open up all the threads I want to see, so this won't help me.

How can any of you not use multi tabbed forum browsing?

thats amazing! i know i'm going to use that a lot. my family knows about tabs, so they look there a lot, and my brother always loves catching me doing something wrong (i'm the good boy of the family). he's only cought me playing more than one game at once.

sweet new addition.

Did you read the thread about it?

Its for if your parents come in your room and you need to hide the website.

Clicking it redirects you off to another website of your choosing.

You can change it in your User CP > Edit Options menu.

I don't think Moo will put a Panic button there for a little giggle.

Or there's always ctrl+w if you use firefox. Anyway, neat idea :).

Heh, I like it, the only thing is I can't see the button, I can click on it, but I can't see it. I just see a square that says panic button with a little square that has a red x in the bigger square....

Maybe moo should learn Java Script so he can? Have a little button that follows the top of a page as you scroll down, like the little price window when you are building a computer from a website? Your parents come in without knocking, *click*

Parents: "Grizwald...were you looking at pr0n?"
Meh: "Couldn't be. I was actually looking for a birthday present for you..."
parents: "...well...OK..."

See??

I think what is here now is great. The window that follows as you scroll would drive me nuts, and I wouldn't be too happy with it, at all, ever.

Good feature. I was clicking the button and it was just refreshing the page. But then I went the the CP and changed the appropriate setting. Now it works as described.

Or there's always ctrl+w if you use firefox. Anyway, neat idea :).
Then once it is safe Shift+Ctrl+T. - Opens up tabs you just closed.

I agree. That would be annoying to the point of I'd have to disable javascript (or use noscript to block it) before visiting this site.

I'm pretty sure if it were put in (and I doubt it will be), it'd come with the option of turning off in your User CP. Otherwise people would go insane!

I did not know what the panic button was for either. But now I do :)
