What if there was a pill to become incontinent for a month?

Incontinence is not what it is hyped up to be. First of all the constant dribble or sudden voiding can be very embarrassing let alone be a severe downer on a person.
I think it is a matter of personal taste. I happen to like sudden voiding, having to wear diapers for that reason just to avoid embarrassing situations.

There is the diapers themselves; do you tell others or keep them hidden? The leaks and spots when you don't realize that you are soaked through. Having to wake up at night to change as most if not all diapers will leak. Yes I have not found one yet that lasts all night.
I try to keep them hidden and so far (after many years of wearing them in public) no one noticed. For me it's part of the game to keep your diapers hidden being one of the last taboos. I don't know why you're having trouble with it, but I can tell exactly when my diaper is getting soaked. Nevertheless I use plastic pants over my diapers for extra protection and ever since I started using them I never had any leakage. The same applies to wearing diapers at night.

I can only speak for myself off course when I say that I never had any pain, UTI's or atrophying muscles. That is after using my special P-device for at least hundreds of times , but maybe I'm just a lucky bastard. :)

Then sorry but you can't have been looking too hard. Abena 4's, Bambinos, and Dry24/7's have enough padding to last all night and then some unless you deliberately down quarts of liquid before bed. I can put away a liter of water just before bed and wake up in the morning with a less-than-full diaper using any of those three. (and I do so on many evenings)

I am not able to purchase diapers too often online due to roommates and their inquisitive nature. That is the one thing that sucks about living with family. No they don't know that I a dealing with incontinence issues and they will not know about it for as long as I can help it.

There is not a disposable that will last me through the night without leaking, and I've tried them all. In the course of a normal day when I decide to wear, I can completely soak an Abena in about three hours.

I think that I would consider the pill simply on an empathetic justification. I don't think that I would want it to last an entire month, maybe a week or two, just to see what it was like to be incontinent. It would help me understand other peoples' incontinence situations, and better relate to their feelings and frustrations with it. I know that I've had my fair share of health problems before, and it makes it easier to talk to someone that has 'been there done that' so to speak. It is kind of difficult to expect someone to completely relate to your situation if they haven't been in the same situation before.

So, yes I would take the pill for curiosity's sake and empathy's sake. It would be an interesting ride and almost an adventure.

I'm still curious about this P-device.

Probably not I had it for three weeks and that was enough (I was on the thick ones for weeks and I found them uncomfortable.

Going back to the original posting - if there was such a pill I would have it reverse engineered to see if it could be modified to make me continent for a month - that really would be something worth having!

they invent to fix problems, not to create them!(that mean no one will invent such a thing and comercialise it)
a month no, more like 24h

Diaper Lover,
When it will last for a full month, I think I will pass. But for a week or so, or better, for a period of 3 days, Then the heck with it! :smile1:
Tell me where I can buy this fictive pill and I certainly will try it.

Rael mentioned about his P-device. Be careful and please do not experiment until you exactly know what you're doing! However, I see that some of us are very curious how he does this. But hey, the moderators will delete such info, and I agree and find that this forum is not the right place for P-device explanations.

However, to avoid that readers here go experimenting the wrong way it might be a good idea to point us to a place / website where one can find proper and safe information about these things. I know that some people do experiment. Letting them 'guess' is even more dangerous than explaining how to do things right. So, be careful and thing 3 times before you do so! :graduate:

So many people say: You don't REALLY want to become incontinent. It is SO inconvinient. You will hate it after a while.

I have used diapers 24/7 in more than 5 years. I can't still see the problem. Everything is solvable. I have been sleeping in the same room as friends. I have been to the beach. I have performed on stage with diapers on.

The problem is in your head. You want to think that you will hate it because you don't want to be abnormal.

If I became incontinent now it would only be a relief.

And you that think that you will loose ability to hold it if you use diapers to much. You want. In my case I have got used to never use the bathroom, and that is a problem if I not use diapers. I still can hold it. But I hate it, and I have the habit of just let it go.

If you want to use diapers. Do it.

If I had a caregiver to change me, it was not a month I was in school, not 100 degrees likes its been here the last couple of months, it was only urinary incon, and I would be secluded from the majority of people I know (e.g. a vacation) then sure.

I wouldn't :/ It'd be really inconvenient especially for school and work. I think it'd be highly stressful :/

On a month off from uni if I lived by myself, sure, I would definitely take it.
