What have I created?!

So I made a cross breed diaper today!

I took a mega max, and gently eased the inner lining away from the fluff.
I then took a critter caboose apart, took the fluff from that and stuffed it evenly down the inside of the mega max lining.

Oh what a creation! I couldn’t walk properly before it became wet.

Once wet… well blimey! Both of these nappies bulk put when wet severely as it is. Combined…I’m not sure I can quite do it justice.

Only issue was I hadn’t banked on having a visitor.

No not with mega max. I find there plastic incredibly smooth

Too small? Or just not right?

Too small in certain parts, there isn’t enough length in the crotch meaning the wings come round too low on my thighs. This means the tapes are securing too low causing rubbing or not a snug fit

Yea. That’s my problem with medium diapers. Barely get the wings to touch and I’m swimming in large diapers. That’s for most or all brands.

Try mega max. They are longer in the crotch. They are higher on the waist because of it but I’m fine with that but for me they fit better on thighs.

Yes a lot of abdl diapers seem to be shorter in the crotch

If you peel it off in slices roughly that fit into the receiving nappy it isn’t so bad.
Also you have to make sure you put it under the skin barrier then the mess is minimal

Looks fun. Rearz fit, especially for their mega diapers aren’t that great. Was disappointed in the tape placement on the new safari’s. Their large is too small, and the xl is almost too big. Doesn’t fit snug. The caboose fits better and has bigger tapes. I held them side by side and they’re definitely a little different.

Adding diapers to diapers exactly like this is how I got started modifying them. I learned a lot along the way testing out different methods. I had some pretty big disasters but that's how we learn. Just make sure you're in a safe place when trying something new. Cleaning up piles of wet SAP isn't easy.

Keep going and exploring different ways to do it!

I did something similar where I stuffed and entire thick all white Bianco inside a Rearz Princess. It was poofy diaper heaven! It felt quite comforting being so thick and bulky. Walking in it wasnt completely easy, crinkle heaven too!

That’s why I like cloth diapers so much, you can customize the absorbency to be exactly what you need in any given situation. That and they give me a good reason for wearing plastic pants for which I’ve had a lifelong affinity (although I do wear them with the Abena M-4s that I wear on rare occasions).

I love PPs over my DDs (disposable diapers, as many called them when I was in them), they make being in diapers more nostalgic, more fun. They also make me feel more secure, knowing leaks are better contained. And the puffy look...perfect baby experience. Authenticity is everything! 🥰🧸🍼

I struggle with cloth nappies as I haven’t found one that I can get to fit well or the Velcro doesn’t hurt and dig into hip. Plus I was brought up in the disposable era, il always prefer them for that reason.
But have to admit no disposable will get close to a cloth nappy for bulkiness
