Just wondering what all of us “weirdos” do for a living. Feel like it can add normalcy and regularity to knowing everyone that’s willing to, profession!

I was a teachers' aid to special needs children, but now I am teaching foreign students English.

I work in logistics and drive a reach truck in a very big blue box with yellow lettering. You see them all over the civilised world.

Set-up mechanic. Keep manufacturing line running for the people who actually working on the lines.

It hasn't seen much action recently, but there was a topic like this last year that got quite a few replies. Here it is, FWIW. Don't hesitate to resurrect it with your own answer.

In very short, I'm an electrical and software engineer for a sensor company. I design sensors and data acquisition systems.

I have my own small business offering marine services including

Marine mechanics
Marine electrical
Marine surveying
Fiber glass fabrication
Scuba diving

Also just getting a little art studio going and will be selling at a few small local galleries

I work in IT, keeping databases, ordering systems, and websites up and running.

Happily retired but was an electrical engineer for over 40 years.

I work in the shipbuilding/ship repair industry as a 2nd tier manager. I work the foremen that work the people. My collar is still blue.
