Fabrication date meaning date of manufacture? Do keep us updated as to how they hold up, and whether age makes a differece to diapers performance at all, please 😊 (I have some old diapers that I'm wondering whether I'm doing more harm than good to, by storing them).

Yes fabrication means date of manufacture. KCWW uses the factory logo or the shortened form of fabrication (FAB). From my experience, the SAP of older diapers is still absorbent...mayybeee there is up to a 10% loss in absorbtion, maybe. The only thing about older diapers is the elastics on the sides may weaken a bit, but will still stay up for the most part unless you completely saturate the diaper until it leaks. Sagging may happen then. If you don't want to open your sealed packs you are storing, try getting a sample or 2 on eBay or some site similar. I will produce a review on them when I've completely used one...probably by the end of the day.

Pics will be uploaded as soon as I take them and crop the photos to smaller than 1.7 MB so this platform can accept them. I wish ADISC would upgrade their platform so we could upload full res images to here, rather than hastle with cropping just to find out we are .1 MB too large😫 Time to re-crop!

The packaging is relatively the same. The only difference on the Mexican Goodnites is the English writing is last rather than first with foreign language following. Also the description of "Unisex" on Mexican ones.

Pictures of product to follow. :)

APPEARANCE REVIEW

Mexican Goodnites have about the same rise and same elastic length as the US Large from 2002. The elastic length is shorter by 1/2" than the 2002 XL. The elastic stretch is about that of the US 2003 Trim-Fit making them a bit snugger than regular Larges. This will help with sagging of full Pull-Up. The 3rd picture shows unfolded Goodnites but elastic is NOT stretched. The back 'tag' is red colored like the US 2002s. The Mexican Larges SAP are about as bulky as US 2002s making them bulkier than 2003 Trim-Fit.

As I recall from reading other threads on here, Mexican Goodnites kept the plain white design for a lot longer than our US counterpart. If you search on the Mexican Goodnites website, they now have a geometric print on them. As far as prints history for them, I am unsure what other prints there are. I think, like Korea, KCWW leaves the design of their Goodnites up to the region they are located in. Which is why Korea has different designs and also had a dedicated size Large for longer than us with the L/XL and no dedicated XL yet. The Korean Goodnites did get a size upgrade recently, but it just made the SAP wider by 15% according to their marketing picture. Upon getting them, I can confirm a wider SAP region.

I have em.

PHOTO INFO:

From left to right we have Korea Space, Korea Racecar, Korea Stripes, and a US 2021 XL for comparison. As you can see the Stripes have a larger SAP region and also have the 3 channel system. Korean Goodnites don't swell as much as the US Goodnites do. But they do hold 2 decent wettings...mayyybeee 3 if you are careful.

The elastics on the pictures are UN-STRETCHED.

That's a great series of comparison photos. I don't wear or collect Goodnites but I still found myself studying the photos and thinking about the differences.

Wider and three channels? That's a step in the right direction. I'm going to have to see if I can find some somewhere.

On another note... I think this is a first for Huggies. I don't think they have ever copied one of P&G's design ideas before. :unsure:Wonder if P&G knows?😄
