weird thinking? Thinking of flying with diaper on

Hi,

Some self introduction first, from sg and I love adult diaper but never had i have the chance to wear it whole day as most of the time some family members will be at home. Chances of everyone not being around comes like once every 3 months? during then i will have a few hours to be anything i want and even try abit of wetting.

I like to have window seat on plane but even during a 6 hour plus flight or 7 hours, i usually have to visit the toilet like 3 times. So if the person beside me is sleeping or using laptop, i find it hard to bring myself to wake them up or request them to shift , so end up usually taking the aisle seat instead and missing the view.

So i was thinking of flying with window seat and diaper on but afraid of being found out and no prior experience also?

i sincerely welcome any advice and help given and thanks in advance

p.s do share some of your experience wearing diaper out for the first time, things to look out for and your feeling at that time, cheers

Hi and welcome. If you're scared of being found out, I'd recomend to wait until you are through security before putting the diaper on. In case you get a pat down or if they have the scanners.

Now during the winter it's also normal to wear some longer jackets etc, this can help you when you board and leave the plane to hide if you are afraid that it will show. Just make sure that you are using a diaper that will hold up for those 7 hours, maybe even bring at least a change if the need arises. The last thing you want is a leak, which will definetly tell everyone what's going on.

I AM GOING TO ORLANDO in march from uk roughly 9 hr flight I find I have trouble using plane toilets as to small and not being able to bend my legs the problem I have is your hand luggage gets screened ,so how do you put a nappy or pull ups discreetly without embarrassment ,but then I worry about return when you have to go through the body scanners /x-ray in America .

In the past it was easy to board a plane wearing diaper, but now with all the scanners and security screening it has made it harder. I haven't traveled now in about 5 years. Planning to during summer so I am going to have to read up on it. If I find any tips or hints I will let you know.

Not sure about what happens in the US of A but carrieing a spare nappy or two usually doesn't cause any trouble. Just make sure you have all eligible liquids (and yes lighters as well) in a bag and zipped and pull out the required electric devices. I didn't have any troubles in this regard the past 8 times travelling to Manchester and Birmingham and on the returns because I had two spares, just in case.
Not quite sure though how they react to wearing a nappy. 2018 on return from Manchester I had to wear a knee-bandage under my trouser and couldn't get the bloody leg pulled up over it for security check, which basically ended in a private investigation.

I highly suggest you do a few searches on this site for flying while diapered. It comes up often enough....

Ps, I've been through security with a soaked confidry on before. Yes I had the extra pat down, but nothing was said and I was waived through as fast as everyone else. It's never a big deal unless you make it one.

flying from Gatwick ,,, return flight to Manchester ,returned to Birmingham from Tunisia once and got pulled over for search and then pat down as I had a few copies of the old bonnets and bibs magazine they thought I was carrying child porn until they looked at it and realised nothing to do with that .

I've gone through security with a pad on. No problem. If they stop you just say your incontinent. They won't give it a second thought. Think of all the ic people that go through TSA every day. There's quite a few!

I would recommend flying with a diaper on, having done it myself. It may be slightly more of an inconvenience on international flights. It doesn't seem like something you need prior experience for, though.

Being found out is always a risk, no matter how safe you stay. Evaluate how much you really care about being exposed to the people who might find out, and whether it would have any permanent impact on your life in rational terms, even if you did emotionally care.

seriously, its never been an issue for my flying in a diaper. I did make the mistake of packing all of my small electronics together with diapers in my carry-on. That got my bag opened, but even then it was quick and painless (no funny looks or comments, just a "have a good flight"

I always wear a diaper when I fly. Always. I usually go through security commando and then put one on after the security check but sometimes I go through security while wearing one. It's never been an issue. Bag checks are similarly non-issues as I always wear Dry 24/7s or NorthShore supremes for flights so no babyish prints. I once got swabbed because of the baby powder on my hands but *shrug*.
