Hello everyone!
I would like tips and tricks on how to wear on a 300 plus mile drive. There are some situations that I am nervous about, such as picking up my rental car, stopping to get gas or changing myself. I want to make sure I'm discrete and that no one notices. Most thinner diapers are pretty crinkly, thicker diapers are pretty noticeable.

I wore a NrU Str8up on a 1500 mile road trip. It lasted me all day for 700 plus miles. I'd stop for gas then I'd wet while I pumped the gas.

I wore tighty whities over the diaper with a t-shirt tucked into the tightly whities. A pair of jeans and an untucked long sleeve flannel. Completely discreet.

Where a premium diaper that can handle floods. 300 miles is only about 4+ hr drive.

Thank you so much. This makes me feel a lot more confident about wearing the whole way there, and I have some good diapers in mind.

I wear all the time as far as 803 miles from my house to near Nashville. I wear a Betterdry with a booster pad. I mean, I need to wear but no one ever notices.

I’ve gone on a bunch of road trips wearing diapers. Most have been solo and a couple with my girlfriend. I usually wear something that will comfortably last for about 4 hours of seated voids without leaking. I stop every two hours to stretch my legs, so every second stop I’ll change my diaper. If there’s a service station or public toilet, I bring my backpack in and change in an accessible stall or regular stall if there are no accessible ones vacant or available. If there are no toilets near me I park up in a quiet location and change in the back seat of my car.

Conceal bulkier diapers with plastic pants and a snug fitting onesie.

Last year in January I flew from my home in southern Wisconsin to Houston, TX to pick up and drive home a car that I had bought on the internet. Being that Covid was in full swing many retailers had closed their public restrooms so finding a place to change became quite challenging. This included the embarrassing act of walking into convenience stores with my backpack of supplies and large wet spots in the rear of my pants. Thankfully I wouldn’t be seeing any of these people ever again. Although my normal diapers are cloth to deal with the logistics of dealing with used diapers on this trip I wore Abena M-4s. Unfortunately finding facilities in which to change was nearly impossible and I ended up changing an extremely over extended M-4 in the Jetta. This failure to change when needed also left me with a substantial case of diaper rash that grew worse as the trip progressed. Plan ahead for the lack of restroom access that has become quite common since the Covid outbreak. For 300 miles this shouldn’t be that much of a problem, but for the 1,200 plus miles it certainly was.

I won't have a car big enough to change in the back 😅 but I probably will be wearing a onesie, skirt, and shaping (tight) shorts. Thanks for the idea.

I have a gym bag with my supplies and a big towel. I can change in the car and have the towel to coverup with.
I also stick to plain white diapers while on the road.
I take on a mindset that diapers are a necessary part of life for many people and this calms my nerves.

Thanks for sharing your insight. I just see diapers as a comfort item.
