Hi all, I saw a picture of a cute outfit on here recently but can't find it again. I'm not really sure what it's called so it's taken me a while to even find something similar. I was googling things like vintage cotton bloomer romper etc as I think of this as a vintage style but have found the attached currently for sale on John Lewis, sadly not in my size 😂😂😭 also it's not quite bloomerish enough for me,it needs to be spacious enough for a thick cloth nappy and ideally in non-stretch fabric just really big and loose.

Does anyone know what they're properly called or where I can get one in an adult size? (to fit a 5'10" baby :))

Also just as a general thing, anyone else a fan of crochet/knitted baby clothes? For me they are very reminiscent of being little little as that was still around then. Ok why not, anyone know where I can buy such things? I've thought about trying to learn to knit or crochet but don't have a lot of time available. And I'd have to work out how to scale em up, which is a challenge I would like but as aforesaid, not enough time at the moment 😔

For unique thing like that, Etsy is a great option! You can also message the shop directly and maybe they can create something unique to you. You never know unless you ask. Good luck!!

Usually for a search, you can find them called “Bubble Romper”.
Look in places like Etsy, or eBay.
My Binkies N Bows might do a custom bubble romper. https://www.etsy.com/shop/MyBinkiesAndBows
There are some there.

Thank you for the name :) Oh my goodness this is the most adorable outfit I've seen so far! Probably a good thing they don't ship to the UK cos otherwise I'd be plotting a way to get this.

Take a look here, they don't have the legs, but a very nice selection. https://www.dreamyncreamyab.com/romper
I'm very close to clicking "buy now"... just querying how to measure. Have you ordered from them yourself? If so, any thoughts on quality, reliability, fit etc? I see they're shipping from Hong Kong and it's a fairly long lead time. I'm always a bit nervous sending money overseas in case I don't get what I'm expecting and have to deal with returns or refunds.

yes I have ordered from them in the past. I have 4 of their dresses and the fit is fine. They are true to the given size. With the style of rompers and dresses they make a loose comfortable fit is best. Their quality is very good.

I’ve bought lots of their dress sets and rompers and they are very reliable and top quality, so you should have no concerns on those fronts. Also go for a loose fit, especially for rompers.
