I just had something crazy happen while on furaffinity and I can't believe I'm just finding it because it's a couple years old. I just found a diaperfur/babyfur story that describes what my childhood/active life both the abdl and non abdl portions scarily accurately. It was called Youthful Bliss and was pretty long but the reason I say it pretty much describes me well is because it is based on a kitten who is transgender m to f who was bullied by family and friends when younger and she is finally starting to be less scared about her life after moving to an all abdl town (it's abit more involved then that but i just wanted to summarize for sake of this post). It was interesting to read but it also brought back some painful memories at the same time (because I really closely identified/identify with Pandora). I'm just posting this incase anyone else is who is already familiar with it wants to mention something about it. Or also if someone feels they might want to read it because they feel a strong connection to Pandora (the kitten whos the main character) like I did.

I shalln't read it myself but it's heartening to know effective fiction exists within our little niche.

I like stories to resonate with something inside me, it's not always my favourite parts of myself that respond but I think it is good to be reminded that others can feel the same things as me.

Although it sounds a bit mixed I hope the reaction the story caused in you was a positive one overall.

I like characters and stories I resonate with to because it makes you truly understand and connect to the character and/or story. Still, though this was a fiction it was just surprising how it pretty much told my life story at the same time (and just how much I felt I identified with Pandora). I went through a whole span of feelings reading it even teary eyes and a little crying at one point but most my feelings were definitely more positive then negative. The hardest part of it being a story is the fact knowing the creation of an area with a judgement free society will unfortunately likey never exist in reality.

I suppose if the idea can exist, as it does in the story, we can work towards such a society and get closer and closer.
That thought is a comfort sometimes.
