i was just watching dax tubes video on them opening up a vintage pack of pampers from 1983
not only did it feature the packaging from the 90s (which is rare and probably the first instance of this iconic packaging)
but it was also a fanfold pampers with not just leg gussets but also cloth backing as well
(this must have been a transition era pampers where they were transitioning from fanfold to the more of the iconic bloomer trim that modern diapers have now)
but its still weird how they had cloth backing as far back as the early 80s (as well as the pampers logo from the 90s)
which means they were probably using the 90s pampers logo and design in urban areas with the p&g plants with the newer machines and the 70s pampers design and logo in more rural areas that still had the p&g plants with the older machines)
this was before luvs became a budget brand after all
still pretty strange though
