No, I'm not joking, they have awards for that. The winners from last year are here: http://www.stupidityawards.com/Winners_2006.html
Or I could give you the (almost) short summary:
Both Dick Cheney and George Bush led the nominations, with 4 and 3, respectively. In honor of the USA president, however, Mr. Bush was given his own catagorey: Stupidest Statements by President George W. Bush. Needless to say, he won in that catagorey. Mel Gibon's drunk driving incident earned him 2 nominations, however he did not win either. The Middle East took home the "Lifetime Achievement Award For Stupidity" award (where they ran unopposed - it is rumored America may join them in the runnings next year), and also won in the "Lamest Trend of the Year" catagorey, with their trend of "Killing people for God". Last, and possibly least as well, FOX has won, for the 2nd consecutive year, the "Media Outlet Which Has Best Furthered Ignorance" award, which would be quite a feat if it wasn't for the Bush Administration recieving so many nominations. FOX will have another shot at the 2007 Awards, as it has been confirmed that President Bush will not be running again in 2008.
