The practicalities of being a baby

Prejudice against ABDL makes even less sense if we stop to think that much of the ABDL lifestyle is about practicality.
Cradles keep us safe on restless nights; onesies are cute, comfy, and keep everything in place; overalls is fashion and never goes out of style; mittens keep us out of trouble; bibs keep us clean; baby bottles allow us to drink our milk wherever and however we want; high chairs make our meals easier; baby foods regulate our intestines; pacifiers calm us down (but be careful, they can crook your teeth); baby powder leaves us smelling and protects our skin; cartoons and toys are extremely entertaining; and of course, diapers and plastic pants make our lives work, keep us dry and protected, are comfortable and childish, and make us happy.
If a baby can enjoy all of this, why can't we?

You forgot to mention that stuffies are always there for us and will comfort us when we are stressed or lonely

I think part of the reason babies can enjoy it while we can’t is the cuteness factor. Young children like puppies and kittens are cute and because of that we overlook their flaws and quirks. We see this in the adult world too it may be shallow but people seem to be more willing to help attractive people. Also humans are social beings and because of that we unconsciously try and conform to an unwritten socially accepted idea of what is normal and it is has been agreed that being ABDL is not normal. Furthermore there are some unwritten laws in this world that nearly every person agrees with like harming children is wrong (exceptions obviously do exist e.g. SS, Gestapo) and because people often confuse ABDL with peadophila people treat it with suspicion. Last point (if you’ve read this far thank you) foolish though it maybe humans often label ourselves based on race, gender, creed or similar and because of this we can be suspicious of those who don’t share the same labels (for a better description watch ‘I am not black’ by Prince Ea) here are some reasons to why ABDL is not accepted to my mind.

We are generally more comfortable with ourselves. We generally feel things more deeply and aren't afraid as much to express it. Kind of a child's mindset.

When we are sad, frustrated or physically sick we find it okay to be cranky for a few hours or even cry a little.

We find joy in small inexpensive things like candy, a pretty dress or cute outfit and a stuffie right out of the dryer.

Things many adults have forgotten.
