So, for a while I was looking for a nice satin petticoat/nightie. One with wider shoulder straps and good length.
When not finding one in a reasonable price-range, I decided to try make one my self.
I have some sewing experience, but this was something new.
Anyway, I got the materials and this is the result. Made a few mistakes along the way, not buying lace for the edges was one of them:p
After finishing I had some extra material and decided to have a go at some bloomers that I've wanted for a long time.

Having your own machine and the skill to use it is great for adapting clothes to fit a male body. Great work.

What a great result! I love satin. Did you have a pattern?

I have bought some dresses and the fit isn't that good. I guess there are women that also have experienced that,
but the male waistline is usually lower so making your own can fix that.

No pattern. I tried finding one, but had to give up.
I found some pictures of dresses/petticoats that I liked and did a free cut.
That's one of the reasons I made mistakes that had to be corrected.

The bloomers was actually easier, but I wish I had more material to make it bloom even more.
