All that matters to me are the games and PlayStation imo alway has the better 1st party games.
I also doubt the rumours about the price will be correct as sony has learn there mistakes after the ps3 price
Already have a pc, doesnt make a console pointlessPCBaby said:Build yourselves a decent PC, does a lot more than play games.
I'm a pc gamer myself, but I do have a ps4 too. Keep in mind that a building a pc with the same performance of the ps5 and xbox series x would cost at least double of what the next gen consoles are projected to cost. Just wanted to put that out there cuz that is a huge advantage for consolesPCBaby said:Build yourselves a decent PC, does a lot more than play games.
I still own a PS2 3 and 4 and still to this day play games on all of them, because i love my retrogames and i don't buy them anewdynodoggo said:I'm a pc gamer myself, but I do have a ps4 too. It was a tounge in cheek remark, hence the smiley. But I custom build my own pc's and i will put it up against any console out at the present or about to come out. When consoles can run 4k on a 1ms monitor without any graphic problems I might look at a console.dynodoggo said:I'm a pc gamer myself, but I do have a ps4 too. then i fear you have to wait till 2040 but at that point you PC will be able to do 10k Graphics without problems i assumePCBaby said:It was a tounge in cheek remark, hence the smiley. didn't take it as an attack, but whilst consoles may be able to run a 4k monitor what sort of frame rate are you going to get. And yes if you want a custom high end pc then you have to pay to get it. My processor alone was over £700 and two graphic cards at over £500 each, Mb another £500+ then 128gb ram, 2tb ssd, 8 tb internal hard drive, power supply, decent cooling and a specialist case to take the bigger Mb it adds up to a pretty piece of cash. But i can have 3 high end games running at the same time without any problems as well as doing all my normal on line activies. all I need now is another 4k display.dynodoggo said:Sorry if it felt like I was attacking you I just wanted to mention how these next gen consoles are very promising on their performance relative to their price that's all . Also I wanna add that it is rumored that the ps5 and xbox series x will have very comparable performance to a 2070 super and that graphics card alone is more than $500 usd. 4k gaming will be possible with the new consoles on a lot of games, which is very exciting to hear about
