Every link I use on the drop down blog menu, takes me to a page that has this:

Were you in the gallery when you clicked a blog link?

Is so that's why, some drop down links don't work when you start off in the gallery... The blog links do work from the gallery main page, but if you are viewing a picture and then click a link it won't work...

It's been like that for ages, but with the blog links all being drop-down links now it's probably made it a more common problem...

That makes sence, by looking at the adress bar its trying to find the blogs inside the gallery.
It's todo with the way the menus handle relative addressing. Because the forum is adisc.org/forum/ and the gallery is adisc.org/gallery/ And it thinks it's "working directory" if such a think makes sence is adisc.org/forum/. This is to do with half the links in the drop down menus are borken, not just the blogs.

Here is what I mean
The http://www.adisc.org/forum/ page gives
HTML:
<div class="vbmenu_popup" id="vbbloglinks_menu" style="display:none" align="left">
	<table cellpadding="4" cellspacing="1" border="0">
	<tr>
		<td class="thead"><a href="http://www.adisc.org/forum/blogs/">Blogs</a></td>
	</tr>

	<tr>
		<td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="http://www.adisc.org/forum/blogs/unmarth/">Your Blog</a></td>
	</tr>

	<tr>
		<td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="http://www.adisc.org/forum/blogs/recent-entries/">Recent Entries</a></td>
	</tr>
	<tr>
		<td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="http://www.adisc.org/forum/blogs/best-entries/">Best Entries</a></td>

	</tr>
	<tr>
		<td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="http://www.adisc.org/forum/blogs/best-blogs/">Best Blogs</a></td>
	</tr>
	<tr>
		<td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="http://www.adisc.org/forum/blogs/all/">Blog List</a></td>
	</tr>

	<tr>

		<td class="vbmenu_option"><a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.adisc.org/forum/blog_search.php?do=search">Search Blogs</a></td>
	</tr>

	</table>
</div>

And on this page http://www.adisc.org/gallery/, It gives this:
HTML:
<div class="vbmenu_popup" id="vbbloglinks_menu" style="display:none" align="left">
	<table cellpadding="4" cellspacing="1" border="0">
	<tr>
		<td class="thead"><a href="blog.php">Blogs</a></td>
	</tr>

	<tr>

		<td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="blog.php?u=17">Your Blog</a></td>
	</tr>

	<tr>
		<td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="blog.php?do=list">Recent Entries</a></td>
	</tr>
	<tr>
		<td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="blog.php?do=list&blogtype=best">Best Entries</a></td>

	</tr>
	<tr>
		<td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="blog.php?do=bloglist&blogtype=best">Best Blogs</a></td>
	</tr>
	<tr>
		<td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="blog.php?do=bloglist">Blog List</a></td>
	</tr>

	<tr>

		<td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="blog_search.php?do=search">Search Blogs</a></td>
	</tr>

	</table>
</div>

As you can see, the fourm gives the complete URL, where as the /gallery/ doesn't and gives problems because of that. and will work onto of the directory of the current page that you have viewed.

That might've been it, Charlie...I think I've done it before though without a problem

Ok, I think I've implemented a fix... it replaces the navbar with the 'return to forums' link when you aren't in the forums.
