You need to have 20 posts and be a member for a week.
That done, your name turns green, and then you can use the "start conversation" option on their profile (which doesn't show up until your name is green).

The only thing left to do since you've got over 20 posts and been here for over a week is to attach a avatar. It can be anything as long as it follows the ADISC rules.

It'll become green soon enough after attaching the avatar so you can start messaging people. I hope that helps you out in some way or another.
