Hello everyone.
As a reminder, there are two basic steps we expect all members to take to protect their privacy on ADISC:
So, we're happy to help you get personal information removed from past posts/uploads you've made, or change your username, if you simply ask us in the Requests forum.
We expect all members to take steps 1 and 2 above to protect their own privacy.
We reserve the right to remove personal information from posts/uploads, especially if we think it might create a privacy risk to the member posting it.
For example, in the case of emails, email addresses publicly posted on the internet are frequently spammed with junk mail, so its a bad idea to post your email publicly.
If you need to share your email, or other personal information, with another member, please do it via private Conversation instead of a public forum post.
As a reminder, there are two basic steps we expect all members to take to protect their privacy on ADISC:
- Don't use the same username on ADISC as you do in your non-AB/DL/IC online life.
- Don't post anything that uniquely identifies you on ADISC and is easy to Google, such as your real name, email address, instant messenger handle, etc.
- Don't do AB/DL or any other kind of kinky stuff on platforms like Facebook which force you to use your real name. No, not even in private groups.
- Maintain a separation between your AB/DL/IC community identity and the identity you use elsewhere on the net.
