While out on my bike yesterday, I noticed a number of ducks and geese gliding in to land on a pond.

Example:

This immediately leapt to mind:

Some bird of prey, huh? Have to wonder if it was unintended irony or an inside joke.

Was the duck looking for dylithium crystals?

As a waterfowl hunter, I feel obligated to point out that that is a goose. [emoji6]

Except that it doesn't have the long neck like ducks and geese. And the ones I saw at the pond... the wing droop was almost exactly the same as the imaginary ship. The "internet borrowed" picture I used of the goose doesn't quite show it.
