Well just watched 1st episode of Picard season 3 ,
How many Easter egg nods to Star Trek from day 1 Kirk times to TNG
One was Riki communicator , from 1st Star Trek series and the music

I never watched it yet, I can't believe my forgetfulness. I'm a Star Trek whacko. I think it may have been due to my not getting whatever channel it was aired on, then I forgot to follow up on it. I guess I have some investigations to do. Is it season 3 already? I think I have early onset ...A...I better not say.:ROFLMAO:

Seriously, I thought about this yesterday that I should look into this Picard series...losing it here. I think. I have to see if it is available on my Xfinity thing. Beats me.

@Wondercrinkee it's on Amazon 😉
I'm not going to say anything about the series, but, like with most streaming services, it's probably worth buying a month's subscription and just bingeing on whichever series/boxsets that you're interested in, before you think about a full subscription.

Watched it. Didn't get into it properly for the first half because I was eating and the afternoon sun was making it a pain to see on my Fire tablet; finished it off later tonight.
Got a number inferences (all forgotten, now 😁) and I felt that the end titles were kind of trying to lead me on, so I was trying to see if there were any goodies in them (I'll have to rewatch them).
With the music, the odd thought occurred to me of, "I'd thought that they'd have used a kazoo orchestra". Some of was a bit quirky; can't wait to settle into it.

It's only me, again....
I forgot about my first impressions from the opening (big spoiler alert!):
I was like, "Oh, no! McFadden!

Tell me I'm not going to have to suffer her soft-focus-lens close-ups in her every scene that make me feel like Mr. Magoo! Nor her crummy dancing that she seems to wedge into episodes!
And definitely NOT that garish aerobics leotard which she purposely wears just make ogle her crotch!!!!
