people who menstruate: i have diaper use questions!

hello! I was just wondering, as a new diaper user, how others might go about their cycle with diapers? what does your self care routine during that time look like for you? if you have any tips for convenience and such, I'd love to hear them! I personally hate the feeling of it getting on me. so I didn't know how people go about that. ☺️

also, aside from menstruation I'd love to hear your advice for diapers and everything as well, products recommended, etc. thank you so much in advance!!
